Did you know there are three areas of body movement that are killing your putting? As you get your putting ready for spring, it’s important to eliminate unnecessary body movement in your stroke. In putting tip 5 of 5, here are three areas where small movements can quietly sabotage your putts: your wrists, your head, and your legs. When any of these start moving during the stroke, your putter face can easily get off line.
The key is to stay steady and let the shoulders control the motion. By keeping your wrists quiet, your head still, and your legs stable, you’ll develop a smoother, more consistent putting stroke that sends the ball rolling on your intended line.
