HIGHS & LOWS

Everybody in sprint car racing knows there’s highs and lows to it. This last weekend at Wilmot Raceway we experienced all of the above in the same night.

Another great night in the 604 car! We had a 5 to 4 run in the heat race which set us up to roll off P7 in the feature. When the dust settled, we ended up with another P2 finish! Consistency has been the name of the game this season, but we’re itching to get back to victory lane!

In the 410 car, the night started off great qualifying P2! Unfortunately, any good news ends there. A questionable call for a jumped start would bump us back a row in the heat race, and after getting jostled around we would end up making contact with an infield tractor tire ultimately sending us flipping. Unfortunately, this marks the end of our 410 season. The frame damage isn’t salvageable without going to the builder, and the point in the season we are at it isn’t sensible to repair for this year.

Thank you to everyone for all the support, as always. The 604 March will continue on for the 13 camp!

DOUBLE DUTY!

No, your eyes aren’t going to be deceiving you tonight. No, you’re not going to have double vision. It’s RACEDAY x2 at Wilmot Raceway tonight! We will have both the 410 and the 604 racing tonight! It’s been a long hiatus, but we’re so ready to get back to the race track!

Tonight we race for a reason bigger than any love/hate relationship you have with a track or another driver. We race in memory of one local racings biggest supporters to ever exist. This one’s for you, Debbie!

The weather is going to be beautiful tonight so pack up the car and head out to support your local dirt track!

Another successful night at Wilmot Raceway for the 13 camp! A 5 to 4 run in the heat lined us up P6 in the feature. After just a couple laps we were able to make quick work into 3rd and set sights on the leaders. A few laps later we made it into P2 and went to work on closing a nearly straightaway gap to the leader. We would make it very close, but ultimately come up short. A solid 6 to 2 to quick off this amazing holiday weekend. Happy 250th, America!

Also, huge congratulations to Brandon Mertes and Mertes Motorsports on your astounding 6th Street Stock feature win in a row!

It’s Tuesday… it’s hot… but it’s RACEDAY! We’ll be at Wilmot tonight for their Independence Day special! Carload pricing tonight ($35 for as many people as you can fit in your car WITH a seatbelt) and an awesome fireworks display to follow some red hot racing action!

WEEKLY SPOTLIGHT!

This weeks spotlight goes out to Jack Eschbach and JAX Helmet Designs! Earlier this season, Marissa decided to surprise CJ with a new helmet for his birthday. (It ended up not being surprise 🫣😂) Jack was phenomenal to work with, keeping it lowkey and the surprise hidden, until CJ knew about it. We battled long ship dates on helmets, and Jack was extremely flexible and pleasant in getting us into his schedule. We highly recommended him for anyone looking for a BA new lid!
