This system features a disposable sensor on each race bib that is captured by our computers as the participant crosses the finish line, resulting in the most accurate race results instantly. We also have the ability to customize your racers experience with SMS text messaging of results as they cross the line. That’s right, as your racer returns to their cell phone their results will be waiting. Runners names can be announced as they cross the line using our state of the art “Announcer” software. Happy Global Running Day!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and joined us at Flying Machine Brewery. Over 400 people showed up to run, connect, share some miles, and enjoy what turned out to be a dry and cool June day.

This is what running is all about — community, movement, and bringing people together.

We’re grateful for every runner, walker, friend, volunteer, and supporter who helped make the morning such a great one.

The Pointe at Barclay is excited to once again be hosting the Fleet Feet Wilmington Battle for Independence Road Race on Saturday, 7/4 starting at 7:30 a.m.!! 🏃👏🧨🎇 A big THANK YOU to The Pointe 14 - Stone Theatres for all they do to bring The Pointe at Barclay these awesome events!

The Battle For Independence 5K & 1 Mile start and finish at The Pointe at Barclay along Independence Blvd. The race travels from The Pointe at Barclay to the shady Halyburton Park. The keyhole route takes advantage of shady paved trails and flat easy running. 🏃‍♂️🌳 Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome!

🎽 RACE SWAG
If you register by June 1 and attend packet pickup, or race day, you will get a shirt in your size! Otherwise, you can choose from remaining sizes when you register.

📣 Heads up, neighbors! Our 5K race is happening TOMORROW morning and we want to make sure everyone in the area is in the loop.
Please take a moment to let your neighbors know — especially those who may not be on social media — so they can plan accordingly. There will be road closures and increased foot traffic in the area during the event.
🚗 If you’re driving tomorrow, please allow extra time and watch for runners and volunteers directing traffic.
