As a busy mother of three, I realized years ago that a healthy lifestyle and consistent workout routine were imperative for my own well-being as well as for that of my family. This same positive habit can be

created for anyone given the right support, mindset, and motivation. Through coaching in person and virtually, I've been able to combine the two things I'm most passionate about: building a community, and helping people feel their very best. When the pandemic came to our shores in early 2020, it threatened to disrupt that sense of community, but thanks to Zoom, a group of us were able to keep our physical and mental well-being intact through online fitness classes. Now that we've seen firsthand the benefits of this online workout format, I've realized that its convenience and effectiveness extend far beyond its initial reason for becoming a necessity. I truly believe exercising as part of a fitness community makes us all mentally clearer, happier, and yes, in shape. But to me, the first two are worth everything! That's what inspired me to launch F.I.T.:

F.I.T. offers live online personal training and online group training classes from the comfort of your own home, or wherever you are! ONLINE PERSONAL TRAINING:

These 30- or 60-minute online personal training sessions offer several benefits.

1. One-on-one instruction for you and your body, in the privacy of your own home and at a time that's most convenient for you

​2. Coaching on proper form, including customized modifications

3. Goal setting specific to your needs, and monthly accountability check-ins


Your first 30-minute online personal training session is free. ONLINE GROUP TRAINING:

These 60-minute full-body online group training classes offer multiple benefits. (1) Personal Training touch at a group fitness price. With our unlimited monthly package, you also have exclusive access to our library of the nine most recent pre-recorded Zoom online workouts, so you never have to miss a session!

​(2) Full-body workout in one hour including warm up, cool down, and stretching to avoid injury. The class format is High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), with modifications for all fitness levels. In each workout, I encourage you to listen to your body and work at your own pace. HIIT alternates periods of cardio with weight training to give you the most effective full-body workout, and will burn calories all day long.

​(3) Compound movements focusing on upper and lower body, and core strengthening, with a splash of cardio intervals in between sets

(4) Workout anywhere! (5) Minimum equipment with maximum results. Your first two weeks of F.I.T. online group training classes are free. Fonda Dickens is a Certified Personal Trainer, and also holds certifications in Body Pump by Les Mills, Bootcamp, TRX, Group Fitness, Pilates, and CPR.

There are many days when I feel overwhelmed by the daily tasks of life, which can zap my energy. And though I love exercise, I sometimes feel like I won't make it through a workout routine. Insecurity can overtake my mind, just like anyone. But through these years of being a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, I have learned that I feel so much better after I workout than before! Sweat has proven to uplift me and has given me the energy to complete my daily tasks. It's a good tired and a rejuvenating feeling. I always say, "Sweat is free therapy" and "Go get those endorphins!"

This is powerful mindset that applies to more than just fitness, but our everyday lives! Once you adopt this mentality, and turn discipline into a habit, you will inevitably become more productive, energized and empowered with all that you set out to achieve.
