🏁 CANNAN RACE WEEKEND RECAP! 🏁

We had a great weekend at Cannan! Baylor practiced Saturday and raced Sunday, taking on 4 classes for a total of 8 motos:

🏍️ 50 4-6
🏍️ 50 Jr
🏍️ 50 Pre-Novice
🏍️ 50 Open

This weekend was all about getting seat time and getting comfortable on his new bike. Baylor was on the new bike for 3 of his 4 classes, and we couldn’t be happier with the progress he’s making!

The 50 Jr class was a huge highlight, finishing 6-7 for 6th overall out of 19 riders! 👏🔥

Another Race Weekend 🏁

Another awesome race weekend for Baylor! He practiced yesterday and raced today at Vermont Motocross, and he had an incredible day in all four of his classes!

🔥 50 Max Quad: 2nd & 2nd — 2nd Overall out of 7
🔥 125 Max Quad: 3rd & 3rd — 3rd Overall out of 4
🔥 50 Air Cooled: 4th & 4th — 4th Overall out of 8
🔥 50 Open: 6th & 5th — 5th Overall out of 9

The biggest highlight of the day was definitely his 50 Max Quad class, where he battled hard for 2nd place in both motos and gave it everything he had! 💪

Baylor raced 4 classes and 8 total motos today and absolutely rode his heart out. He continues to improve a ton every time he hits the track, and we couldn’t be more proud of him! ❤️🏁

What an incredible weekend at the Wi******er Speedpark Double Header in New Hampshire!

Today Baylor raced three classes:
🏁 50 Non-Race Bike
🏁 50 4-6
🏁 50 Open

Today’s races were on the supercross track, and your first moto finish determined your gate pick for the second moto.

In the 50 Non-Race Bike class, Baylor finished 5th out of 19 in the first moto and rode absolutely incredible. Before the second moto, we were talking, and Baylor told me he had to bring his dad home a trophy after how well he had been riding all weekend. I was hoping for a top-five finish, but honestly, I was just proud of how much he had improved.

When the gate dropped, Baylor grabbed 2nd place and rode an amazing race. He held second the entire moto until the final two corners of the last lap, where he got caught up behind lapped riders and was passed. He crossed the line 3rd, earning 3rd overall. I couldn’t be more proud. This was without a doubt the best I’ve ever seen Baylor ride, and it was awesome to watch all of his hard work paying off!

In the 50 4-6 and 50 Open classes, we treated them as practice on the new KTM Mini 50 we bought yesterday. Baylor never gave up, completed every lap, and made huge improvements all weekend on the gas bike. He’s getting more comfortable every time he rides it, and it’s only a matter of time before it all clicks. Most importantly, he’s having an absolute blast on it!

To top it all off, after racing yesterday we found out there was a fair just up the road. We spent the evening eating fair food, watching truck pulls, and making memories together.

One of the best parts of the weekend was meeting some amazing families. Racing brings together such great people, and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone again at the track!

What an unforgettable weekend in New Hampshire. Racing, family time, new friendships, and memories that will last forever. We truly are living the best life.

What a first day at Wi******er! This track is awesome!

Baylor raced three classes today for a total of six motos. To make the day even crazier, we woke up this morning, saw a KTM Mini 50 for sale, went to check it out, and let Baylor take it out for practice. It was his first time ever racing a gas bike!

50 4-6 Class: There were 25 kids on the gate! Baylor finished 11th in his qualifier, putting him into the LCQ. He came up just a couple spots short of transferring to the main.

50 Non-Race Class: Baylor finished 10th in the first moto, then came back and absolutely rode his heart out in moto two, finishing 7th out of 19 riders for 7th overall. That second moto was the best I’ve ever seen him ride!

50 Open Class: Baylor finished 16th in the qualifier and went to the LCQ, where he finished 9th. These classes are absolutely stacked with 20+ riders.

For Baylor to come to a brand-new track, race against some of the toughest competition we’ve seen, and do it all on a gas bike he had never raced before was something to be proud of. He went out there, gave it everything he had, and kicked butt all day!

We do it all over again tomorrow!

What a beautiful weekend of racing up at Derby!

Baylor practiced on Saturday and raced on Sunday. We spent Saturday working on breaking some bad habits, and it really showed on race day. Seeing the improvements he made throughout the weekend was awesome!

Unfortunately, we didn’t race the quad this weekend. It’s been a never-ending battle with mechanical issues the last few weeks, so Baylor competed in just two classes.

Air Cooled Class:
Baylor finished 3rd overall out of 7 riders, going 3-4 on the day. The second moto was a tough one. He had a hard crash and a bad gate drop with another rider coming down on his bike. Despite that, he got back up, charged through the field, caught the rider in 2nd, and then unfortunately went down again. Even after all of that, he fought back to finish 4th. I couldn’t be more proud of his determination and never-give-up attitude.

50 Open Class:
Baylor absolutely kicked butt! Racing against 2-stroke race bikes, he went 4-3 to finish 3rd overall. He continues to improve every time he hits the track, and it’s exciting to watch.

Overall, it was a great weekend! Baylor also spent a lot of time helping around the track, picking rocks and putting in some work with the skid steer before it was time to race. It’s great to see him learning that racing isn’t just about what happens on the track—it’s about pitching in wherever you can.

We had a great night at VT Shifter Karts last night! 🏁

Baylor had an awesome evening and drove really well. During his second session, he went to make a pass when the kart in front of him lost control, turned into him, and they both ended up in a pretty hard crash. It definitely shook him up and left him pretty sore.

For his final session of the night, I told him to just go out, have fun, and enjoy driving his kart without worrying about making passes. Sometimes the biggest win is getting back out there after a tough wreck, and I’m proud of him for doing just that.

This weekend we’re headed to Vermont Motocross Association for a practice/race weekend! Unfortunately, we’ve had nothing but bad luck with the four-wheeler over the last three weeks. Even after replacing a lot of parts, we won’t have it ready to race this weekend. Baylor is definitely disappointed, but that’s racing sometimes. He’ll be focusing on his dirt bike and is ready to give it his best!
