Up next in our CTE Student Spotlight series at Williamsport Area High School is senior biotechnology student Avani Rainier. Through the program, Avani gained valuable laboratory skills and medical knowledge, including hands-on experiences that support her plans to pursue nursing and give her a strong head start toward future success. 🧬🩺

⚙️ Congratulations to our Career and Technical Education students who participated in the SkillsUSA regional competition last Friday at Pennsylvania College of Technology! Williamsport Area High School sent 35 contenders. Of them, 28 earned top-three finishes: 7 earned first place, advancing to the state round; 14 earned second place; and seven earned third place.

Our first-place winners were:

Our girls raised $2,000 during October through Pink Out efforts in support of Breast Cancer Awareness 💕

Today, they made their donation to the Kathryn Candor Lundy Breast Health Center at UPMC.

Shoutout to our incredible Williamsport Millionaire Girls as we make our final stat post of the season.

Last week, they battled fiercely in the District 2/4 Finals against Delaware Valley, holding strong in some tight sets. Although the outcome wasn't in our favor, our girls showed tremendous grit and determination.

We're so proud of their growth and teamwork this season; watching their journey has been an amazing experience. Prior to the District Playoffs, they played their hearts out, finishing with an impressive 15-4 record. It's been a great season and we're sad to see it come to a close!

We celebrate their accomplishments and look forward to even more success in the future!

Our Lady Millionaires are on their way to North Pocono High School to face off against Delaware Valley in the District Championship for District 2/4A.

Last year, we clinched our first District title against Del Val, and we're hoping to repeat that victory tonight. Whether you're cheering from the stands or supporting from afar, we appreciate all the encouragement.

Last night, our Lady Millionaire varsity team celebrated their victory against Wilkes Barre Area High School, securing their spot in the District Championship! 🙌

Mark your calendars for tomorrow, Wednesday at 5 PM, as they'll be facing Delaware Valley at North Pocono High School, the same team they triumphed over last year to win their first-ever district championship!

Let's rally together and show our support for these incredible athletes. Pack the stands and cheer them on to their second District Championship!
