🏆SINGLE A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP🏆

Here it is! The eve of some special! The big story going into this one is Tug Valley ,the reigning back 2 back champion going for the 3 peat!

But then you’ve got GBC! Aiming for their FIRST WV STATE CHAMPIONSHIP! You’ve got history on 2 sides of the court and one of them make it!

These 2 teams have some crazy match ups that will be fun to watch! Last time these 2 played was last seasons state semi final that had Tug advancing to win their 2nd straight.

GBC has some new faces but Tug does aswell! On paper this one is going to be a barn burner , can’t wait to see it be put onto the hardwood! 🏀

🔥 A New Era for Girls Wrestling in WV 🔥

Girls Wrestling is now officially sanctioned as its own sport in West Virginia, and we’re excited about what that means for the future of our program and the state.

At Tug Valley, we’re proud to have been part of the early stages of that growth. Alissa Workman was not only our first female wrestler, but the first in Mingo County history. She helped start something new for our school and our area at the high school level.

We’re looking forward to continuing to grow girls wrestling at Tug Valley in the years ahead. 💪
