Hello Panther Nation!
We hope everyone enjoyed an unforgettable Homecoming night!

Congratulations to all who participated and showed that Panther Pride!
We wanted to give you a quick update from our practice round at the WVGA High School Series at Stonewall Resort. From the first tee shot to the final putt, your Tug Valley Panther Golf Team has been locked in, learning, growing, and most importantly, having fun out on the course.

A huge thank you goes out to everyone who has had a hand in making this experience possible. We still have teammates traveling in tonight, as well as some who couldn’t make the trip but their support and dedication are felt every step of the way.

These student-athletes have absolutely outperformed expectations for a brand-new program. They’ve gone the extra yard traveling long distances just to practice, qualify, and compete all while keeping their heads down and their spirits high. No complaints, just pure Panther grit.

We’re proud to share a few snapshots, we ask that you keep these golfers in your thoughts and prayers as they compete and travel.

Congratulations to our hardworking team on our first golf victory over Mingo Central 182-192 at Clearfork Golf Course! We want to congratulate Mingo Central’s Devin Maynard, as well, for being the medalist of the match shooting a low score of 37!

Parent and player meeting Friday August 1, 2025 at Lefty Hamilton Park in Williamson at 6:00 pm. This meeting is mandatory for all golfers planning on playing this season. Sports physicals due by August 4th.

Tug Valley High School Golf Team: Built with Heart, Fueled by Determination

No home course? No problem. At Tug Valley High School, we believe grit, heart, and hustle go farther than any fairway ever could. Our brand-new golf team may not have a course to call home, but that hasn’t stopped these student-athletes from showing up and swinging with purpose.Thanks to the generosity of Williamson Parks and Recreation and dedicated community members like Jarod Dean, our team is finding creative ways to practice — even using the fields near the historic Williamson Field House. It’s a humble start, but the spirit is mighty. This team is built on shock and awe, and we’re already seeing talent that could take some of these players all the way to college scholarships.We want to give a heartfelt thank you to everyone who continues to support these incredible students. Your encouragement means everything. Our players may have to travel farther, share gear, and make do with less, but they never complain — they grind harder. Because that’s what Tug Valley athletes do.We’re not here to promise a state title in year one — but what we can promise is a team that will compete with courage, work with purpose, and represent our school with pride.Stay tuned… Tug Valley Golf gear is on the way!�We welcome your continued support and can’t wait to introduce you to these rising stars of the green. Tug Valley Golf Update:
We are thrilled to share that plans for the Tug Valley High School Golf Team are progressing each and every day! Our schedule is quickly filling up, and the excitement is building with every new step we take.

The response from our students and fan base has been absolutely overwhelming—in the best way! Your energy and enthusiasm mean the world to us, and it’s clear the Panther spirit is alive and well.

As we move forward with pride and purpose, we want to remind you: Expect the unexpected! Great things are happening, and we can’t wait to bring you along every step of the way.
