Senior Spotlight #10 - Sean White

Looking back, what’s your favorite memory from your time playing football here?

My favorite memory was beating Warhill 2 years in a row on JV.

How has being part of this team shaped you as a person on and off the field?

Being on this team has taught me to always keep everyone around me including myself accountable, it has also taught me to always give 110% in everything I do.

What advice would you give to the younger players coming up behind you?

No matter how much practice sucks and hurts, keep pushing and give it everything you’ve got, because after that last practice you’ll never experience anything like that ever again.

Who has had the biggest impact on your football journey, and why?

Coach Peay has had the largest impact on my journey, he has been there with me since 8th grade workouts, he has always pushed me physically and supported me mentally to be the best version of myself.

When people remember your class of seniors, what do you hope they’ll say about you?

That we were the foundation for the change in Jamestown footballs culture, and we set the standard for the future of this program.

Looking back, what’s your favorite memory from your time playing football here?

My favorite memory was scoring the game winning touchdown vs New Kent my sophomore year

How has being part of this team shaped you as a person on and off the field?

Being apart of the team has made me realize to just enjoy the time you have while it last

What advice would you give to the younger players coming up behind you?

Never taken anything for granted because it can all be over in one and play, also have fun

Who has had the biggest impact on your football journey, and why?

I would say Jayden Cory and Coach Peay for always pushing, being there for me and believing in me

When people remember your class of seniors, what do you hope they’ll say about you?

I hope they remember us by the change in culture around jamestown football and how we were able to win

Looking back, what’s your favorite memory from your time playing football here?

Playing freshman year.

How has being part of this team shaped you as a person on and off the field?

Being scared for the first time helped me become the person I am today.

What advice would you give to the younger players coming up behind you?

To the younger players always have confidence in your actions.

Who has had the biggest impact on your football journey, and why?

My middle school history teacher for helping me get into football.

When people remember your class of seniors, what do you hope they’ll say about you?

Looking back, what’s your favorite memory from your time playing football here?

My favorite memory would have to be having a water balloon fight during the summer of my junior year after practice.

How has being part of this team shaped you as a person on and off the field?

Being a part of this has shown me how to be a better person and how to lead my peers.

What advice would you give to the younger players coming up behind you?

For the younger generation I would say don’t forget to have fun and remember any place can be your last so go full effort.

Who has had the biggest impact on your football journey, and why?

I would say my coaches and my family because they helped me when I was at my lowest with injuries.

When people remember your class of seniors, what do you hope they’ll say about you?

I want people to remember we were the team to win games on Jamestown and start a different culture.

Senior Spotlight #6 - LaBron Henderson

Looking back, what’s your favorite memory from your time playing football here?

My favorite memory is definitely the bonds that I have built with the people around me throughout my years.

How has being part of this team shaped you as a person on and off the field?

Being a part of this team helped me realize that no matter the situation, it is important to stay together and fight even through the toughest moments.

What advice would you give to the younger players coming up behind you?

My best advice for the younger guys is to stay on top of grades. No matter how skilled you are as a player, if the grades aren’t good your future options become limited.

Who has had the biggest impact on your football journey, and why?

The biggest impact throughout my journey has been from my family on and off the field. At all times for any reason I have had someone there to back me up and push me even when things felt impossible.

When people remember your class of seniors, what do you hope they’ll say about you?

I hope they say that I was someone that they felt they could come to for anything. I hope that this team will continue to find success for the upcoming years.

Looking back, what’s your favorite memory from your time playing football here?

My favorite memory is being able to grow closer with new people each year no matter the circumstances

How has being part of this team shaped you as a person on and off the field?

Playing football has helped me become more determined to achieve whatever result I want regardless of any obstacles

What advice would you give to the younger players coming up behind you?

Advice to the young guys I’d say stop driving the coaches insane and push for maximum success

Who has had the biggest impact on your football journey, and why?

The biggest impact on my HSFB journey is family and friends to keep me going, teammates to fall back on and amazing coaches throughout all 4 years, I’ve created many many memories and will remember each and everyone apart of this program

When people remember your class of seniors, what do you hope they’ll say about you?

When people look back on this class of seniors I hope that my ‘kill or be killed mentality’ is remembered and how I loved to compete and that we were able to change Jamestown Football

Senior Spotlight #4 - Charlie Patterson

Looking back, what’s your favorite memory from your time playing football here?

Getting my first ever sack against Gloucester and benching 300 during summer workouts

How has being part of this team shaped you as a person on and off the field?

It gave me a group of brothers who I grind with to achieve results that haven’t been achieved in years

What advice would you give to the younger players coming up behind you?

Practice like you play so when you play it’s practice

Who has had the biggest impact on your football journey, and why?

Coach Nicholson because he convinced me to play football and helped me out when I really didn’t understand what to do

When people remember your class of seniors, what do you hope they’ll say about you?

We left it all out on the field and accomplished what hasn’t been done in years
