Schedule for the week: Monday: no tackle practice
Tuesday: flag games: orange jackets v. Black jackets 5:30, white jackets v. Black jackets 6:15. Tackle game at 7.
Thursday: tackle practice at 6:30 at the briar creek baseball field.
Saturday: tackle game @ Bell county 10 AM

A reminder that we have our first games tonight! The first flag game is at 5:30, the second at 6:15. Tackle players please get there at 6 for your game to start 7. We will divide teams and pass out alternate jerseys before the game.

**Please Share** there has been a lot of movement with our 5/6 grade, MS and HS JV schedules that will directly affect us. We’re working to make a new two month schedule ASAP and will update tonight

I would love for tackle players to get a youth girdle to go under their pants. These have pads in them already, and are way more comfortable for them. These can be purchased on amazon or any sports retailer. If you aren’t able to get a girdle, let me know and we’ll provide some pads with their pants.

One last reminder/clarification: tonight we will be located at the entrance of the football stadium to collect forms and payment. Payment is cash or check only. THIS IS NOT A PRACTICE. You will be contacted by the coach of team for practice for flag after tonight. Tackle players will be contacted by their coach after tonight to schedule equipment pickups, and practice times.

SCHEDULE UPDATE: after conversations with the school and the busy week ahead, plus fall break the next week….Tomorrow will be the last day of games for flag and 3/4 tackle. Tackle players, please show up and have all your equipment with you. After the game, we will collect the equipment. Players that can’t make it can bring their equipment to school and we will collect it. The School will be in contact with families who don’t turn in their equipment. Thank you to the coaches and parents for allowing these kids to have fun playing football. We apologize for the short season for 3/4 tackle, the new stadium not being ready and that unforeseen incident in September essentially set us back three weeks. Next year we will have everything going in august to make sure this doesn’t happen again. Go Jackets!
