This season was humbling.
I came into it excited, putting in all the work to make sure it would be one of my best seasons yet. Then my motor blew, and I thought for sure my season was over.

But the racing community showed up. People reached out offering help and options to get me back on track — what a huge relief. Shortly after getting a new motor put in, I got caught up in a wreck that put a lot of stress on the chassis — stress cracks, bent pipes, and all.

Through persistence, determination, and some incredible people in my corner, we kept pushing. Big thanks to Cody Davis and his team for putting in the work and helping me get back to doing what I love. I was able to get back in the car and out there with my buddies, pushing to get better every lap.

We finished the season strong and full of hope for what’s ahead. The Chavez Race Team has made some big decisions and we’re gearing up to come back even better and stronger in 2026.

Race Fans – 007 Update!

It’s been a busy stretch for us with moving, working, and doing everything we can to get the 007 back on track. The transmission is currently at the shop getting a new case after sustaining a crack in our last wreck. Fingers crossed, we’ll have the frame straightened this week so welding and repairs can begin shortly after.

I’m beyond eager to get back in the driver’s seat, but I’m also committed to making sure no corners are cut. We’re focused on doing this right so the car is race-ready and safe when we return. If all goes well, we’re aiming to be back in action in two weeks.

Friday night I turned 7th fastest in qualifying and had a great night and came back Saturday night and turned another competitive qualifying lap again. Was a great weekend Racing with the guys. Both Friday and Saturday we had a great show only 1 caution each night. The people filled the stands although it was chilly. Thankyou Fans of Southern Oregon Speedway.
