I got to get a couple of guys out this morning for some walleye. They were definitely scattered more than yesterday, but we still ended the trip with four keepers. We boated ten altogether. It was the same thing as yesterday, bottom bouncing a crawler harness in 15-25 feet of water.

Got out on Stockton with a good buddy and checked a few walleye spots. We fished for around three hours and had 18 total. It was definitely a good time. Caught everything bottom-bouncing a crawler harness in 15-30 feet of water, mainly lake points. If you would like to book a crappie or walleye trip, call or text (417) 844-6375; spots are limited.

Sorry for the late post, but I was on Pomme Thursday and Friday. The crappie bite was fair to good in my opinion. I caught fish on brush and trees on both sides of the lake. The fish that were deep in the brush seemed to bite better than the ones on the outside. I was using Charlie Brewer Sliders and Crappie Magnet Tiny Dancer, using 1/16 and 1/8 pink headed jigs with no keeper. I like using the jig heads with no keeper; it seems to make your plastics last a little longer with a drop of super glue. The best water depth for me was 15-20 feet.

You have to love this time of year - crappie are going to the banks, turkey are gobbling. I've got to get a good buddy out this morning for a quick trip on Stockton.We've got a couple limits; the bait of choice was the Charlie Brewer Slider in cotton candy, paired with 1/8 and 1/16 oz. jig heads. Stockton 3/22 had an awesome morning playing with the brakes on the boat with my buddy Eric. We got two nice limits this morning.I’m going to have some openings for trips in April and may call or text for availability (417) 844-6375
