Well, that's a wrap for the lake for this weekend. Had a father-son duo out this morning chasing crappie on Stockton lake; we managed to put some nice stringers together off brush piles. Best depth for us was 15-20 foot; same baits as we've been throwing - Crappie Magnet, Paddle Tails, and the Split Tail Shad from Crappie Slammers with a 1/8 oz pink jig head #4 hook. Hope everyone has a fun and safe 4th, and remember the ramps are going to be a little crazy, so stop by State Park Marina, have a burger, maybe ice cream.

Got out on Stockton this morning for some fun fishing, checking brush piles in 15-30 feet of water with the same two baits that have been producing; Crappie Magnet and a Crappie Slammer split tail. Hope everyone has a fun and safe Fourth of July weekend.

Had a repeat client this morning on Stockton.Thanks again, Kyle, for another great trip and for bringing Tyler with you. The crappie were definitely biting. Spent part of the morning on trees and the rest on brush. Did not fish deeper than 25 feet. Caught everything on a 1/8 oz jig with Crappie Slammer split tails, Oakie Shad, and Crappie Magnet paddle tails in Monkey Milk. Water temp was around 78 degrees.

Had a couple of new clients out this morning; we ended up putting some nice stringers together. We were fishing trees in 15-20 feet of water; you had to put it right on their nose to get their attention, but if you did, they were definitely eating. Thanks again, Josh, for booking the trip with me, and congratulations on your first limit; it was definitely a good time.
