Founded in 2004 by Kevin Sickle and Tom Hannon, the BWBL has provides competitive Wiffle® ball tournaments and leagues to Northeast Pennsylvania. Both the league and tournament feature a medium-pitch format with base running. Every year, the tournament takes place in May and raises money for a local charity. In years past, money has been raised for The Colleen Shea Foundation, Sears' Heroes at Hom

e, The Tyler Winstead Fund, Wyoming Valley Challenger Baseball, The Dan Peck Fund, Fallen Officers Remembered, The Janet Weis Children's Hospital, and several families and individuals in need. The following week kicks off the summer long season, which expanded to 11 teams this year, with more to come! 1776 and Busters will go head to head on our second series of the day.
