Country Hoops 3on3 Basketball Tournament

We did it!!!! It was a successful tournament again this year thanks to the many generous sponsors, spectators, volunteers, and participants!

We ended up with a total of 19 teams to fill 5 brackets. Thank you for your amazing sportsmanship and understanding!

Below are the winners of each bracket:
1. 3rd-4th Winners are Fly n’ Unicorns: Owen Schneider, Kobyn Hardy, Ryder Salinas, Tripp Florenzen
2. 5th – 6th Winners are Momma’s Boys: Levi Wilson, Parker Salinas, Honor Parrish, Finn Florenzen
3. 7th – 8th Winners are ACH Warriors: Gavin Emerson, Mase McKay, Preston Jensen, Wyatt Edwards
4. High School (9th – 12th) Winners are Leopps Furniture “Movers”: Caden Portch, Pharoah Hudson, Walter Leach-Owhi, Halle Picard
5. College/Adult Winners are Washed Uncs: Chase Marchand, Bear Thomas, Chase Clark, Alonzo Adams

Winners of 3rd-4th, 5th-6th, 7th-8th grade were awarded cinch bags – printing donated by J&A Café
High School & College/Adult winners were awarded hats done by Flying Embroidery
Thank you to all the t-shirt sponsors. I have attached a photo with all listed. This is what printed on the back of each t-shirt. With their sponsorships we are able to give each player a participation t-shirt if sign up prior to the cut off date. We have a cut off date so we can get them all printed and picked up before the tournament.

Winners of each Bracket!

3rd & 4th grade bracket were on the Silver Creek Systems backboard – winner: Court Crushers! Team included: Trent Carstensen, Lane Edwards, Boston Jess & Colton Malone

5th & 6th grade bracket were on the Sandy’s backboard – winner: Rattlers! Team included: Timious Lathan, Jacob Gehlen, Russ Allen & Weylin Jackson

7th & 8th grade bracket were on the Greg’s Crop Care backboard – winner: Goon Squad! Team included: Derek Atkins, Tyler Mills, Chantelle Pakootas & Taloulah Tonasket

Only one High School team so moved it to College/Adult bracket.
College/Adult bracket were on the Phelp’s Contracting backboard – winner: Scuba Squad! Team included: Alvin Pachosa, Aaron Mcquaid, Tyloer Jordan & Ed Wolffe

Country Hoops Basketball Tournament was a success! We had 22 teams that participated and brought approximately 86 players.
The weather held out and we had no rain until the end of the tournament. Thank you to all the participating teams and spectators for coming and enjoying our tournament! It was a fun, exciting day! We had great support and a lot of help!

I have so many individuals and businesses to Thank. Without all of them this tournament would not happen!
First to Spokane Hoopfest Association, it is so great that such a large successful group takes the time to help our little community in storing, delivering, and providing access to the hoops used for this tournament.

Last but not least to all the volunteers the day of the event. It is absolutely not possible to do an event like this without our amazing court monitors/refs and scorekeepers. So HUGE shout out to them, you are GREATLY appreciated!!!!! Court monitors: Cindy Feuerborn, Michael Dreger, Megan Nelson, Gary Feuerborn. Scorekeepers: Gavin Feuerborn and his friend, Ryan, Lisa Locke, Baxton Jessup & Michelle Blair.
Braxton Jessup was also a huge help to me in EVERYTHING this year!
