Another excellent night of baseball for the Padres last night!! The boys shined bright during the late night game! All around a great team effort on both defense and offense! Our baserunning last night was a thing a beauty along with the energy in the dugout!

The man that pieced it all together last night for us was the one and only…

🔥🔥🔥 BENNET RANNELS

This young man had an excellent night on the mound last night throwing a variety of pitches from fastballs to change-ups and sealing the deal with a couple nasty knuckle balls!! 🥶
Only surrendered 4 pitches in his first inning on the mound and staying composed throughout his night leaving the bullpen no option but to sit back and watch him work last night! And not to mention great defense behind him to back him up.
Excellent job young man! We’re proud of you! 👏🏻

Tonight was a good night of baseball for these boys! Everybody was producing at the plate and locked in on defense to hold the opposing team tonight and secure the win for the Padres! Several of the boys came in clutch with big hits and kept the lineup going! All around a great team effort!!
But the honorable mention tonight goes to our very own…..

🔥 Colton Bahns!

He played defense tonight with great enthusiasm and took the initiative to make the correct plays!He showed great leadership tonight and did a great job at helping his pitchers out! Good job young man 👏🏻

Man did these boys ball out today!! We faced great competition tonight and managed to end the game in excellent fashion with the walk off!!!!
Tonight the boys brought the fight and showed that dawg in them to start this weekend off on the right foot! Everybody produced as a team and kept pushing each other as a team! That last inning was a thing of beauty cause when these boys rally they rally hard!! Everyone did their part to show great sportsmanship and teamwork but Some honorable mentions for tonight are….

-Joey Patterson, for starting us on the mound
-Javony Avila, for his excellent defense at catcher
-Colton Bahns, for the mental toughness
- “SSS” Shoeless Sebas Solis, for the walk off hit

As we enter the last and final stretch of our season I can honestly say this season has been rough! Faced a lot of good competition this year and I have seen a lot of great athletes in our hometown of Wichita! That brings me pride and joy to see a lot of baseball players representing their city with pride and respect! The Padres have also had a lot of good moments, great moments, bad moments and some that I wish we could forget! But guess what? That’s baseball! No matter how this season has treated me and what the rest of the season holds for me, I am truly honored to say that I have a great coaching staff behind me! These guys have been my ride or die’s all season long!! Everyone with the sane goal in mind and truly supporting my decisions as I support theirs…as it should Be! These guys don’t get enough recognition for what they do but I am grateful to have them in my corner! I know that no matter what happens I can look back and count on them to guide us down the right path! From the bottom of my heart I Tip my hat to you gentlemen!

Goodmorning Padres family! We have a full week jam packed with baseball this week! From league games to state tournament and everything in between, there are no days off from baseball! On our last outing we had 2 great performances!

🔥🔥🔥 Lucas Wasson 🔥🔥🔥
Always a strong at bat in our lineup and now the owner to the padres 2nd Homerun of the season!!! Lucas hit an inside the park homerun in his last outing!

🔥🔥🔥 Colton Johnson 🔥🔥🔥
Came in clutch with a 2-hit performance in his last outing, giving the Padres a strong at bat in the bottom of our lineup to keep the line moving!

There’s a lot to talk about regarding The Padres weekend in Tulsa…but we’ll get to that later this week!

First off we have to give credit where credit is due and we as a team played phenomenally yesterday! We also have 2 young men that came up big this weekend for us and they are the reason for this post!

🔥 Colton Bahns 🔥
This young man held his own very well behind the plate catching for us all weekend long. Going from a 3 man catching crew to just 1 guy is not an easy thing to do but Colton understood his role and didn’t let his team down. Doing this all weekend long under the hot Oklahoma sun is not something we take lightly!

🔥 Lucas Wasson 🔥
For starters Lucas and his family cut their vacation a little short and made the drive out to Oklahoma to help the team out on Sunday. And boy did he come up clutch!!!!!! With the biggest blow in the inning during the Padres rally, Lucas delivered a 3 RBI triple to out the padres in the fight followed by another base hit and great defense! Being the newest addition to the team is not easy but he fits in perfectly to the Padres family!

We’ll see you all tonight at Westurban for more great baseball!

The Padres fought hard this weekend in the Memorial Day tournament but we came up short as a team! We will regroup to come back and fight harder!

As we celebrate Memorial Day weekend for those who also fought hard, we remember the importance of teamwork, unity and working together for the same goal!

During the weekend we Tip our caps to those soldiers and we also tip our caps to a couple of young men who shared those same values this weekend to keep us in the fight!
