Wow! Just like that 3 August Heat birthdays! Help us wish these 3 boys a BIG Happy Birthday!!

First up was #9 James turning the big 9 on 8/10! Someone who constantly brings the energy and always willing to do whatever is asked to help the team succeed. Happy “Late” Birthday James! Keep bringing the enthusiasm and willingness to always help as you grow!

Next up #48 Mason turning big 8 on 8/20! A kid who is an absolute sponge with baseball knowledge and constantly asks questions to grow and continue to learn the game. Happy Birthday Mason! Keep being a great teammate and bringing that positive fun energy to the team!

And #5 Oliver turning 9 on 8/22! A great kid and player who is harder on himself than the coaches are and consistently wants to be pushed and get better as a player and kid. Happy Birthday Oliver! Keep wanting to learn, improve and grow as player!

8U and the machine pitch era officially came to an end this week as we joined the Wheat Sox and Pythons for a fun youth skills challenge night! Thank you to both teams, coaches, and parents for making it a night these boys will remember for a long time.

This season brought incredible growth and development from where we were a year ago. It was great to watch the boys consistently compete in league games and tournaments while continuing to improve every week. They earned their first #1 seed heading into bracket play, finished 4th in league, competed against some of the toughest 8U teams in the area, and never stopped battling. Time after time, they found ways to win close games, including several exciting last-inning victories.

This team proved that when you put in the work, the results will come. I couldn’t be more proud of this group of boys—not just for how they played, but for the way they competed, supported one another, and represented ICT Heat all season long.

A huge thank you to all of our parents, families, supporters and sponsor. We couldn’t do what we do on the field without your commitment and encouragement every step of the way.

Machine pitch may be over… but we’re just getting started.

NBC Hap Dumont Kansas State tournament begins tomorrow as we wrap up our final tournament of the season. Boys have put in the work all spring/summer and ready to finish the season out strong! Come out and support them or if you gotta work pull the games up on YouTube and act busy as you watch some entertaining games!
