3-0 in Midwest Nationals Pool Play🔥

💥 What a way to finish Day 1 at Midwest Nationals! 💥

Our girls closed out Thursday with a 12-4 win over Synergy Stack 16U, powered by an explosive 7-run third inning! 💣🔥

Offensively, everyone stayed aggressive at the plate:
💥 Makynzi Whisler ripped a triple and finished with 2 hits.
💙 Ruby Lewis delivered a clutch 2-RBI double.
❤️ Kahlan Kitson collected 2 hits and drove in 2.
⚡ Arabella Starnes added an RBI single as the lineup kept the pressure on all game.

In the circle, Laynie Zeka gave us a strong start, allowing just one unearned run over three innings before Ella Bontrager came in to finish the job.

This team continues to play for each other, compete with confidence, and find ways to put up big innings. Proud of the grit, energy, and unselfish softball these girls are playing! 👏🥎

✅ Select Fastpitch 316 Brown 15U – 10
✅ Midwest PRIME 16U – 0

What a complete team performance! 🔥

Our girls put together another outstanding game Thursday, combining lockdown defense, patient at-bats, and timely offense to earn a 10-0 victory over Midwest PRIME.

👏 Arabella Starnes was outstanding in the circle, tossing a complete-game shutout and allowing just four hits while keeping Midwest PRIME off the scoreboard all game long. 💪🥎

Offensively, the bats stayed active with hits from:
💥 Arabella Starnes
💥 Tess Goodin
💥 Avery Harbaugh
💥 Makaynzi Whisler
💥 Ruby Lewis
💥 Ella Bontrager

The biggest offensive surge came in the 5th inning, when the girls capitalized on every opportunity to break the game open with six runs. Their discipline at the plate also showed, drawing 8 walks and constantly putting pressure on the defense.

Another great all-around team win as these girls continue to compete at one of the biggest tournaments of the summer.

What a way to kick off the tournament! ❤️💙

Select Fastpitch 316 Brown 15U came out on fire, scoring 6 runs in the first inning and never looking back in a 9-2 win over Nebraska Stealth 16U.

🔥 Offensive Highlights:
🥎 Kahlan Kitson: 3-for-3, 2 RBI
💥 Ruby Lewis: 2 doubles, 2 RBI
⚡ Laynie Zeka: 2 RBI, 2 stolen bases, plus 2 scoreless innings in the circle to close it out
💪 Avery Harbaugh: 2-for-2, RBI

🥎 In the Circle:
👏 Ella Bontrager got the start, allowing just 2 runs over 3 innings, before Laynie came in and shut the door with two scoreless innings of relief.

This was a true team win—10 hits, aggressive baserunning, solid defense, and contributions throughout the lineup. Proud of the way these girls came out focused and set the tone for the weekend!

💙🧨Colorado Sparkler Recap 🧨💙

What a week!

The record wasn’t what we wanted, but this tournament is about so much more than wins and losses. Every game gave us an opportunity to compete against some of the better teams in the country, and these girls never stopped fighting.

They showed resilience, heart, and the kind of grit that doesn’t always show up on a scoreboard. They celebrated each other, picked each other up, and continued to compete until the final out.

There are a lot of lessons we’ll bring home, a lot of confidence to continue to build on, and Midwest Nationals in town still left to play this week.

Proud of this group. The future is bright. ❤️🥎
