Just received a call from Scott Johnson today telling me that Annie took first place in a 14 dog Open Gun Dog stake at Northern Oklahoma Trial. Thanks Scott for handling her.

Had a great day at the Sunflower GSP Club trial today. In the Open Limited Gun Dog stake there were 10 GSPs and Amnie..She came home with the blue. Super run and one find. In the Amateur.Limited she ran against 8 GSPs and 1 Vizsla and come home with 2nd place. Her run was a touch more irratic in the middle of the course, but she had 2 finds and an honor.Annie has only run in 4 stakes this spring and has placed in 3 of them. Even with Covid restricting our trialing, I am very happy with her performance. I think she is on her way to becoming a tough contender.

Nice covey find by Annie. Missed getting the birds in the video but there were about a dozen birds. She had excellent manners and I had a bundle of fun.

This was Annie's second find in the Midwest Brittany Club Amateur All Age stake. Thanks to Nick Blasi for the picture. She had 3 nice finds and a good race except for a few minutes going across the prairie headlong into a 30+ MPH wind. She shortened up and started quartering during that time but stretched out again once back in the bottoms. However, her performance was overall good and she was awarded 4th place out of 13 dogs starting. This was our last trial of the season. Now for hunting season.
