Welcome our new Boys Basketball Coach, Travell Robinson!

Please join us in welcoming Travell Robinson to the team! Travell is joining LPA as our new K-12 Physical Education teacher and head boys' basketball coach.

Hello, my name is Travell Robinson. I am originally from McPherson, KS. I attended Barton County Community College then transferred to Tabor College where I finished my collegiate basketball career and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Coaching. Upon graduation, I lived in Los Angeles, California where I was a junior college basketball coach for 2 years at Pierce College. While there, I was also a skills trainer working alongside overseas and former NBA players to help them gain knowledge of the game.

I am glad to be back at LPA! I formerly served as the assistant basketball coach for LPA for 2 years. I am happy to now serve as the Head Coach and physical education teacher. I’m excited for the new journey and opportunity to help mentor young kids in the right direction: towards Jesus!

BASEBALL GAMEDAY!

Our LPA Baseball team will head out west to Hays, KS to play in the Diamond Classic. They will face TMP and Hays tonight at 5:15 and 7:30pm.

The Life Prep Fire will head out to take on the Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles on Tuesday. Life Prep's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Bishop Carroll's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Life Prep is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Kansas' top teams: Christ Prep Academy, who was ranked 19th at the time (Life Prep was ranked sixth). The Fire never let the Patriots get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Friday. Life Prep's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Meanwhile, Bishop Carroll hasn't lost a match since April 11th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They and Kapaun Mt. Carmel finished up their match with a 2-2 draw.

With that draw, Bishop Carroll's record moves to 10-1-1. As for Life Prep, their win bumped their record up to 9-0.

Life Prep suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Bishop Carroll when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Can the Fire avenge their loss or is history deemed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.

BASEBALL SENIOR NIGHT!

Tonight, the Fire Baseball team will host Hesston HS at Genesis Sports Complex.

Gametime is at 4:30. Senior Night Festivities will be after Game 1. Game 2 will be approximately at 6:30.

Former Fire Baseball Player Kaleb Wise broke the Hesston College Home Run Record over the weekend!

Our alumni continue to make us proud at the next level!

BIG COUNTRY FOR THE RECORD! 💣

Kaleb Wise hit 2 home runs in game 1 of the doubleheader to set the single season home record at 15!

The Larks defeated Champion Christian in game 1, 7-3 and fell in game 2, 1-5.
