Continuing with our returning group! Tanner heads back to The Nest for another summer, this season as an AGM. She was previously a member of the game day operations team. Currently attending Colby-Sawyer and a member of their Women’s Basketball team, Tanner will lead and anchor our local staff members for 2027.

She will be responsible for assisting with sponsor retention and acquisition, merchandising, concessions, and fan engagement to enhance the overall ballpark experience at Maxfield. We are so glad to have her back in an elevated role! 🐞⚾️

Everyone’s favorite writer and food critic is back in the blue and yellow for another summer! Vermonter Thad Sawyer returns to the Twin State Line as the Director of Communications for 2027. He will oversee all Nighthawks promo, print media, website, and assist with on field entertainment, while also handling content duties.

Thad is the next in a line of successful Communications staff, including 2022 Hawk Travis Leonardi who is now the Baseball Communications Manager for the Indianapolis Indians, AAA affiliate for the Pittsburgh Pirates. 🐞⚾️

Dev and Phoebe are back! We wouldn’t have the culture we do without our insanely talented Mental Performance team, keeping our players and staff sharp all season long.

Devon enters her fourth season with the Nighthawks, while also serving as a Mental Performance Coach for East Coast Evo baseball. She previously spent time with the Arizona Diamondbacks and Orleans Firebirds of the Cape Cod League.

Phoebe returns for her third season on the Twin State Line. A Hanover, NH native, she also owns and operates her own counseling center, Treadwell Counseling and Performance Center, based in Hanover. She previously spent time with the Pittsburgh Penguins and worked as a college ice hockey coach for ten years.

We are thrilled to have our MP team back for another summer to expand on the program and continue to lead the charge in this space around the NECBL. 🐞⚾️

We continue with the heavy hitters as we announce Caitlin! Returning for a second season to direct the Creative team! After graduating from Colorado Boulder, Caitlin makes her way back to Vermont to take the creative team to the next level.

Caitlin spent 3 years with the Colorado Buffaloes and Colorado Student Life creative teams before joining the Nighthawks in 2026. She becomes the fourth in a lineage of successful Creative Directors who continue to set the NECBL standard for content, following moxfilms (2025-2026), Riley Bergstrom (2023-2024), and Dominik (2022).

We are so excited to have Caitlin back in the UV for another season and can’t wait to see her creative vision come to life over the off-season!

The offseason has begun and we have started to build our 2027 staff! We welcome Veronica, who will be hiring and managing the broadcast department, co-hosting the Hawks Talk Podcast, as well as handle sideline and content duties!

V spent the 2025 and 2026 NECBL seasons with the Newport Gulls broadcast team. She is a rising Junior at Penn State studying Broadcast Journalism, and will help take our already strong broadcast to new heights! We can’t wait to see the results of her hard work this offseason. 🐞⚾️
