Our first USSSA travel tournament of the season definitely didn’t start the way we hoped… but it sure ended with something to be proud of. 🩵🧡🩷

The girls struggled through pool play, dropping both games and heading into bracket play as the last seed.

And then they battled. 👏

They fought their way all the way back to the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME and took it down to an international tiebreaker, ultimately finishing RUNNERS UP after a one-run loss.

THAT is the kind of weekend that builds a team.

It’s easy to play hard when everything is going your way. It takes something different to come back after a rough start, knowing you’re the last seed, and fight your way through the bracket until you’re one run away from a championship.

We learned a lot about this group this weekend — and most importantly, we learned that they don’t quit. 💪🔥

Lady Phoenix is headed to Paris, KY for the USSSA Unity Invitational — our first USSSA tournament of the season! 💪

We’re excited to see these girls step into some tougher competition, continue learning, and keep growing together. Pool play kicks off Saturday, with bracket play to follow on Sunday. 🩵🩷🧡

All of our Lady Phoenix girls have officially kicked off another school year! Two of our girls are taking on 4th grade, while the rest are officially 5th graders! 🥹

We hope each of them has a safe, happy, and successful school year filled with learning, new experiences, and plenty of fun.

But more than anything, we hope they remember that being a leader doesn’t stop when they step off the softball field. 🥎 We hope they lead by example in their classrooms and hallways—being kind, including others, working hard, standing up for what’s right, and showing those around them what it means to be a good teammate and an even better person.

We’re proud of the athletes they’re becoming, but even more proud of the young ladies they’re growing into. ❤️

First tournament of the fall is in the books! 🥎🔥

Our record from this weekend doesn’t come close to telling the whole story of how well these girls played or how much we learned about this team.

With a new roster and our first tournament together, this weekend was about figuring things out — and we did exactly that. We learned where our strengths are, found areas we need to work on, watched multiple girls step into new positions, and saw glimpses of just how good this group can be as they continue to grow together.

And can we talk about Harlow?! 🥹🩷 Peep her from Day 1 in orange to Day 2 in black — our girl played so hard she ended up with a fractured wrist. 😭 She couldn’t take the field Sunday, but that didn’t stop her from showing up to support and cheer on her teammates. THAT is a teammate. 🫶🏼

One of our biggest takeaways from the weekend had nothing to do with softball, though. These girls and these families just VIBE. The dugout energy, the laughs, the cheering, the parents hanging out together — it already feels like we have something pretty special with this group.

Wins are great, but weekends like this are where teams are built. Now we know what we have, we know what we need to work on, and we’re excited to get back to practice and keep building. 🩵🩷🧡

Lady Phoenix 10U hits the dirt this weekend for our first tournament of the fall season at the Back to School Bash in Raceland, KY! 🩷🧡🩵

We’re kicking things off close to home before the schedule has us hitting the road for most of the fall! 🚗🥎

This weekend is all about getting back into game mode, knocking off some rust, and seeing where we are as a team. New season, new faces, and plenty of softball ahead — this is our chance to see what’s clicking, what needs work, and where we go from here. 🔥
