Keeping it real with you—

I’ve been gone for a while… and it wasn’t just because life got busy.

Life did get crazy:• Three kids• My wife started a new job• A whole new routine at home

But the truth? I could’ve still shown up.And I didn’t.

No excuses.



Here’s why that matters—

I coach people on consistency.On showing up when it’s hard.On doing the work no matter what.

And I wasn’t doing it myself.

That doesn’t sit right with me.



So this isn’t just an “I’m back” post—It’s me holding myself to the same standard I expect from my clients.

Active Rest = Progress in Disguise 💪
Rest days don’t mean doing nothing.
They’re about helping your body recover while still moving!

Here are a few great ways to take an active rest day:
✅ Go for a light walk or easy hike
✅ Do mobility work or stretching
✅ Try Pilates
✅ Hop on a bike for a casual ride
✅ Play with your kids or dog
✅ Foam roll & breathe

Or active rest can happen making a track out of the leaves for your kids. Remember — your muscles not only grow in the gym; they also develop when you recover properly. Keep moving, but give your body the break it deserves.
