💜🏋️ FIRST ANNUAL DEANNA DAVIS MEMORIAL INVITATIONAL 🏋️💜

We are honored to officially invite teams to join us for the First Annual Deanna Davis Memorial Invitational on Saturday, November 14th at Wewahitchka High School.

This meet is about so much more than weightlifting.

Deanna was our teammate, our friend, and a special part of our weightlifting family. Her strength, determination, and spirit left an impact that will forever be a part of our program. We could think of no better way to honor her than by bringing lifters together to compete in a sport she loved. 🦋

📋 Coaches Meeting: 9:00 AM CST
🏋️ Meet Start: 10:00 AM CST
📍 Wewahitchka High School Gym
💲 Team Registration: $200
📅 Registration Fee Due: October 16th
👥 Limited to 300 lifters
🏅 Maximum of 2 lifters per weight class, per team

Once your team registers, you will receive an invoice for the registration fee, a link to order Deanna Davis Memorial Invitational T-shirts, and additional information regarding roster submission and meet details.

Today’s focus was all about building the foundation.

We spent practice working through our sn**ch, clean, and jerk progressions, slowing things down and putting an emphasis on technique. Great lifting doesn’t happen by accident, it comes from mastering the small details over and over again. Every drill, every rep, and every correction is another step toward becoming stronger, more confident lifters.

And to make the day even better… it was 💗 Pink Day! 💗 The weight room was filled with pink, smiles, and hard work. We love seeing our team bring the energy while staying committed to the process.

Keep showing up. Keep learning. Keep believing. The results will come.

Today’s workout was all about showing our Wewa pride! From Gator gear to Gator spirit, our weight room was full of energy, hard work, and smiles.

Technique was the focus, and these girls showed that getting better isn’t always about lifting the heaviest weight…it’s about putting in the work, paying attention to the details, and getting a little better every single day.

I love watching this team represent our school with pride while continuing to grow stronger together. The future is bright for Lady Gator Weightlifting! 🐊🏋️‍♀️❤️🖤
