That’s a wrap on our Summer Youth Field Hockey Camp! 🏑🇺🇸☀️
What an incredible week it has been! We wrapped things up with USA Day, and our campers showed up in their patriotic gear ready for an awesome final day.
Throughout the week, players worked hard on developing their field hockey fundamentals, building confidence, making new friends, and most importantly, learning the value of teamwork. Today’s activities—including our always-entertaining Trash Bag Runway Challenge—focused on communication, creativity, and working together to accomplish a goal, all while having lots of laughs.
It was amazing to watch each player grow throughout the week. From beginners picking up a stick for the first time to more experienced players sharpening their skills, everyone challenged themselves, encouraged their teammates, and brought a positive attitude every day.
A HUGE thank you to our incredible Coach Heather Joyce for leading such a fun, positive, and inspiring week. We also want to recognize our amazing Westwood High School volunteers who gave their time, shared their knowledge, and were such wonderful role models for our younger players:
