Our goal is to have all of our residents maintain a sense of independence and control in their lives. 🎶✨ We had the opportunity to celebrate a wonderful milestone with some talented young musicians! John, who visits our Golden Crest homes each month to share his love of music, brought along several of his students for a special showcase performance.
Our residents were amazed by their talent, dedication, and confidence as they played their instruments so beautifully. Watching these young musicians perform not only entertained us but also brought back fond memories for many of our residents who enjoyed playing music in their younger years.
We are so proud of these students and cannot wait to watch them continue to grow and develop their musical talents. Thank you, John and students, for sharing your gifts and making our day so special! 🎵❤️

Today we got a little mischievous in the kitchen and made some deliciously devious Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Granola Bars! 😋 We mixed sweet, chewy, crunchy, and chocolatey goodness together to create a one-of-a-kind treat that was as fun to make as it was to eat.
A little creativity, a little teamwork, and a whole lot of sweetness made for a wonderful day at Golden Crest! ❤️

What a wonderful way to celebrate Father’s Day! 🇺🇸🚗💙
We had the opportunity to host an incredible car show featuring everything from classic cars and modern vehicles to a vintage military jeep! Our residents loved taking rides, exploring the vehicles up close, and chatting with the owners to learn more about their unique rides.
The fun didn’t stop there! We enjoyed hot dogs, chips, sweet treats, and great conversation out on the porch while soaking up the beautiful weather. Days like these remind us how special it is to come together as a community, create lasting memories, and celebrate the amazing fathers in our lives.
We are so grateful for opportunities like this and for everyone who helped make the day so memorable.

We are so grateful for the wonderful volunteers who generously give their time, talents, and kindness to enrich the lives of our residents. From calling Bingo numbers and helping with activities, to singing beautiful songs and sharing their love of animals, each visit brings joy, connection, and something special to our community.
The smiles, laughter, and meaningful moments created through these interactions remind us just how fortunate we are to have such caring and compassionate people involved in our lives. Your willingness to share your gifts and spend time with our residents does not go unnoticed, and it is appreciated more than words can express.

Today we celebrated National Hot Air Balloon Day with a colorful and creative activity! Residents enjoyed learning about these incredible flying machines while creating their own hot air balloon masterpieces.

Do not pass Go without having some fun! Today, our residents enjoyed a lively game of Monopoly filled with friendly competition, strategic moves, and plenty of laughter. From buying properties to collecting rent, everyone had a great time testing their luck and building their fortunes!

Today we were treated to a special visit from a beautiful Golden Retriever, and it was the highlight of our day! Residents had so much fun petting, cuddling, and loving on our furry friend.
There’s something truly special about the joy and comfort animals bring. Smiles filled the room as everyone enjoyed spending time with this sweet visitor, making memories and sharing lots of love.

Today we transformed simple tissue paper into beautiful butterflies! With a little creativity, colorful tissue paper, and a light spritz of water to bring it all together, each butterfly became a unique work of art.
Our residents had so much fun watching their creations take shape and come to life with vibrant colors and delicate patterns. It's amazing what can be created with a few simple supplies and a lot of imagination!
