Time doesn't stop. Some memories begin to fade. I started in sports.

I dream of keeping special moments with me forever. I hate to admit this - but I am actually fearful of forgetting!!! [I need to get over that!]

So.....I am a photographer. Since then, God has led me to births and families - to seniors and also weddings. Capturing you being you is what I enjoy most! I love a good lifestyle session - whether adjusting to life with a newborn around the home or hang

ing out with your family at a picnic in the park or exploring a creek nearby...maybe even shooting hoops together and grabbing ice cream afterwards. Quiet and reserved, yet stubborn and athletic.
Zach follows the rules but also enjoys fun...
He is smart AND plays football.

Zach was such a good sport. Like many of our senior guys getting pictures taken, he kindly went through the motions because it was important to mom. Zach plans to major in Computer or Software Engineering here in Ohio.

With his desire for success and drive for excellence, I have no doubt he will do well in college! Congratulations Zach!

Rachel is full of energy and sweet, fun happiness!
She is adventurous and athletic.
She has graciously walked through some adversity.

Rachel radiates joy!
She wishes the world could be filled with more kindness.
Having coffee, working out and hanging out with her friends are a few of her favorite things to do.

She believes everything happens for a reason.

Hobie // Class of 2024

Hobie is intense in all the things he does!
He plays hard.
He loves hard.
He works hard.
He is adventurous and fun to be around.

Hobie loves to play baseball, hunt and play music. In a world that is so me-focused, he has learned to have eyes to see others first and is most passionate about seeing the best in other people. How would the world change if we all at least tried to see the best in others? If he could change one thing with the world, it would be that everyone would see their value in Jesus and His unconditional love for them.

Hobie desires to be a servant for the Lord and grow His kingdom the best way he sees fit. He plans to go to Taylor University to play baseball and major in Biblical Studies and Communications.

One of his favorite verses is: Psalm 143: 10-12 which says” Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may you good Spirit lead me on level ground. For your name’s sake, Lord, preserve my life; in your righteousness, bring me out of trouble. In your unfailing love, silence my enemies; destroy all my foes, for I am your servant.”

Today - in honor of Hobie, when you are tempted to see only the negative in someone, I encourage you to flip the lens and be a glass half-full person to those you are around! Thanks for inspiring me Hobie! Can't wait to cheer you on at Taylor!

Madi // Class of 2024

Madi is determined.
Quiet, reserved, studious – but she has a great sense of humor.
Creative - she is into music and loves to read. A people-pleaser.
This young lady is always up for an adventure.

She exhibits a STRENGTH and COURAGE not common for a high school student.

Madi is looking forward to graduation with ambitious plans to one day be a forensic psychologist.

She is a gifted singer with a beautiful voice and loves to write too. One day she hopes to take a solo trip to Paris! (What a fun dream!)

Madi’s compassion and tender heart is unique. She is a gift to her family and the best sister ever – totally amazing with her younger brothers... And of course we had to do at least one picture with duck lips.

Madi, thanks for inviting me into your senior year. I pray it is a year of unexpected blessings!

Athletic and adventurous.
Reserved and a little stubborn.
Ryan is focused on his goals.

He enjoys playing soccer in his free time. When he graduates, he has his sights set on medicine and would like to become an orthopedic surgeon and heal broken bodies. He would also love to change the way people treat each other - seeking to also heal the brokenness in the world. He would encourage us by telling us that “A bad day doesn't equal a bad life.” (Hello - that is a great quote!)

Ryan loves to play soccer in his free time and is excited to grow this year, graduate and head off to college. His favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 10:12 which says “Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs."

Congratulations Ryan! Thanks for inviting me into your senior journey!

Fun-loving - the rule-following type.
People-pleasing yet stubborn.
Wanting the world to be a more peaceful place where we chose kindness first when interacting with others.

Sara is passionate about music and theatre. She has been in many productions in school and seen many as well. She is really looking forward to the productions during her senior year! One of her favorite quotes is from "A Year with Frog and Toad,"

"I think of the reasons I have to be happy, and that makes me happy all over again.”

What a refreshing (and convicting) mindset! Several years ago I read a perspective-changing book called "A Thousand Gifts" by Ann Voskamp. In that book, she invites readers to find contentment and joy by living a life of gratitude, intentionally finding beauty in the ordinary, daily monotony of life - also in our times of celebration AND in the heavy, dark and hopeless-feeling moments. It is hard to not find an occasion to smile when you are intentionally looking for reasons to be thankful.

We share several things in common - one of which is Lipscomb University! Sara is hoping to attend Lipscomb in Nashville to pursue Theatre Education and possibly minor in directing. My oldest daughter started her college journey at that same school and I have vivid memories of walking around the campus and town (and injuring my back lol)! We love Nashville and Lipscomb is a great place to study.

Sara - thanks for giving me occasion to pause and be thankful, pursue kindness, and celebrate happiness! I am thrilled for you as you walk through your senior year. Thanks for inviting me into your journey!
