FOR SALE - 155 GAMES! LONG BEACH STATE FOOTBALL GAME FILM on 16MM - ONCE IN A LIFETIME COLLECTION - $25,000 Takes it all!

Thanks to all of the former 49ers and supporters for keeping in touch with me throughout the years. I have over 155 games in the collection. I have been saving and transferring these films for nearly 10 years now, and the time has come that someone else take safe custody and ownership of the collection.

Included are films of over half the games Long Beach State ever played, and over 40 have already been transferred to DVD. I want to know the films will be converted and saved in a way that befits the legacy of the football program. The cost for everything, including the rights to publish, convert to digital media, and all converted digital material is $25,000. Long Beach State 49ers basketball related - a short snippet of an interview I did with Daily 49er TV in 2015 on the passing of Jerry Tarkanian. I wish I had the full interview tapes as this is just a short snippet and I had more than a few things to say. I'm always plenty happy to throw UCLA under the bus and deservedly so. John Wooden and his people were just as dirty as Long Beach, but they had better protection and were able to take Long Beach down. Quite a shame to this day.

One of the all-time stars of Long Beach State football...Jeff Graham! Ranks No. 1 with 8,080 passing yards, 7,263 yards in total offense, 42 touchdown passes, 664 completions and 1,175 passing attempts. If you caught a ball from Jeff, let's hear your story!

Coach Jim Stangeland and Star RB Terry Metcalf!

Terry Metcalf made his collegiate debut in 1971, rushing 267 times for 1673 yards and setting the NCAA college division record for rushing TDs (28), total TDs (29) and points (178). Metcalf finished with career totals of 2432 yards rushing and 45 touchdowns. In 1975, Metcalf set an NFL record with 2462 all-purpose yards. He was one of the first four NFL players to account for touchdowns five different ways (rushing, receiving, passing, punt and kickoff returns) in one season.
