The New York Cosmos mourn the passing of Rocco B. Commisso.

We honor the life of Rocco B. Commisso, a passionate leader who dedicated his life to the game of soccer and to the future of the sport in this country.

Rocco fought for what is best for American soccer, believing in the growth of the game, the importance of community, and the power of clubs to inspire the next generation.

The New York Cosmos extend their heartfelt condolences to his wife Catherine, his children Giuseppe and Marisa, his extended family, and all those whose lives were touched by Rocco.

Rocco B. Commisso believed in this club, this game, and the people behind it.

He stood for growth, community, and the idea that football in this country deserves passion, identity, and vision. His leadership and presence meant a great deal to many within the Cosmos family.

From Five Points, we send our condolences to his loved ones and to everyone mourning this loss.

Patrick Hart was a proud member of Cross Island Crew and The Five Points, always representing our colors with loyalty and love.

From holding the CIC flag while serving our country, to standing with us at watch parties and matches, Patrick was part of the heart and history of our family.
