West Sac Girls Softball

West Sac Girls Softball Recreational and Competitive Youth Softball League for Girls ages 4-14.

We are a recreational and competitive softball organization focused on developing girls fast pitch softball players, at multiple age levels, from the West Sacramento community. It is our hope that our players will continue in the sport of women’s fast pitch softball at the high school and college levels. Softball is fun because of the relationships that are formed on the field, the team unity, and

the ability to accomplish a common goal together as a team. We are resolved to commit ourselves to the advancement of fast pitch softball in the West Sacramento community as well as continued player development by building character, using the medium of softball as a tool to teach young athletes in a way that improves their self-confidence and self-esteem, while making them better, more productive community citizens.

What a weekend for Team Lightning! 💛⚡️ Our girls battled through the Lalapalooza Seeding Tournament and finished 2-2!

We saw some great plays, big hits, tough at-bats, and so much hustle from these girls all weekend long. Most importantly, they continued to learn, grow, and cheer each other on every inning. 💪🏼
