So proud of SuperGee 53 Gary Holbein for his first checkered flag in P1 Aqua X. After a catastrophic engine failure in his P1 debut, normal kids would quit. But Gary is a winner, and winners never quit! Today he returned to the P1 course with a wire-to-wire domination of the course. Thanks Mikey Young for sharing it with the world on that awesome live stream!

We are heading to the Big Easy today to watch Gary Holbein Junior in his debut P1AquaX race piloting the Jetblast of Mississippi Yamaha. This young man is not just a phenom on the water, he is a scholar/athlete, a talented musician and has always been quick to welcome kids and new families into the sport. Good Luck SuperGee!

A woman is still missing hours after she fell off a jet ski and didn't resurface. Rescue crews are at the scene trying to find her.

It was an honor for JSoF to once again provide our course marshal ski and rescue sled to help the Santa Rosa Island Triathlon . This was my first year to personally pilot the ski as I am always out West this time of year. The flotilla of volunteers on kayaks, SUPs, and in the water with lifeguard floats are some of the most positive, happy people I have ever met. Mindy Gates Straw and Jernigan, you guys are great promoters!

I am so proud to see these guys pick up where we left off last year. Buoy racing 101 is all about that "first bite of the apple" that creates a racer or fan for life. Ryan Stevens sent pictures of new racers getting their first experience on a standup on the Junior Stars SXR "Daisy". I have lost count of how many new riders got their first feel in the tray of that machine! Bobby cardone and Robert Perry , you are great ambassadors for the sport!

I was an Arabic linguist. I had just completed my PT test, and was planning on heading over to a buddy's place to check out soon new mods he had bought for his car, "on my way back to base". We stopped at 7-Eleven for Gatorades and we saw the second plane hit. He was an Agency linguist too, and we just looked at each other and said "change of plans".

With a little over a month until World Ijsba World Finals, We are sad that we will not be attending this year. The October pilgrimage to Lake Havasu City has been a part of the Underhill Family Calendar for years, but even great traditions have their season. We are cheering and praying for the volunteers who will write the next chapter of Day with the Pros at World Finals!
