13U took the field this Mother’s Day weekend and gave their moms the best gift they could in winning their first Gold Bracket Championship.

On a day where we celebrate all our moms those boys played hard throughout the tournament scoring 32 runs while only giving up 7. Congratulations boys, well earned!

Great weekend for the 13U Mavericks

3-1 on the weekend taking 2nd place in gold bracket in an exciting game vs our hometown rival Space Coast Elite.

Game 1 - Tucker R. Had a fantastic outing giving up only 1 run while the boys put up 11 for the victory.

Game 2 Logan G. Took the hill for the Mavericks in another stellar performance also only giving up 1 run while the boys secured a 9-1 victory to make the gold bracket final.

Bracket play was underway Sunday morning as Zach W. Got the call on the bump and shut down game 3 allowing no runs through 4 innings with Matthew D. continuing the shutout in the semifinal game while the boys put up 8 for the 8-0 victory.

Championship game was as exciting as they come, Parker S. took the mound and what a performance. The game went all 7 innings and was tied 4-4 going into that 7th inning where we fell just short in a 5-4 final.

Amazing weekend overall and man are we excited for what the future holds for these boys.
