Today the tractors had the track, tomorrow it is our turn on the track for the 13th running of the Labor day classic at the West Liberty Lions club Labor day festival.

Tomorrow sign in starts at 9:30 am and ends at 10:30 am. If you know you are coming but can't make those sign in times let someone know that you are coming and we will get you signed up.

The driver's meeting will be at 10:40.
Practice is at 11 am to 11:30
The first 15 minutes is for the stock Classes.
The second 15 minutes is for the modified class.

Pre- race starts at 12:40.
Heats begin at 1 pm

BEN GRIFFITH GOES SWEEPING AT THE ROAD COURSE!

On Sunday we ran our only road course of the season at Wilmington Raceway Park for the Wilmington Rumble.
This event has quickly become one of the most looked forward to stops on the our schedule.

Visiting the Levan's Body Shop Victory circle this weekend was in the
JPH Racing team Modifieds class was Ben Griffith who won both heats and the feature. This is Ben's first win at Wilmington Raceway Park and his 2nd feature win on the season.

In the stock Class we saw Jacob Griffith win his second straight Wilmington Rumble. This is Jacob's 4th feature for the season. Jacob and Landyn Reilley split their heats, while Jayde Reilley won both her heats. Previously to this race Jayde had won just one heat.

In the Liberty Gathering Place Sr. Stock Class Aaron Pippin won his first Wilmington Rumble. This is his 3rd feature of the season. Aaron Pippin and Daniel Dennis shared the heats.

In The Village Hippy Boutique Jr. Stock Class we saw Grayson Vanhoose win in his road course debut. This is Grayson's 6th feature of the season. Grayson and Jordan Griffith split the heats.

Congratulations to all of the winners!

We thank Wilmington Raceway Park for hosting us and we look forward to coming back next season.

Next event is a non points event and the clubs return to Cridersvillle Speedway on Saturday night August 29th.

Our next points event is the Labor day classic on September 7th as part of the West Liberty Lions club Labor day festival.

On Sunday, we make our way to Wilmington Raceway Park for our only road course race of the season, the Wilmington Rumble.
We have only 5 points races left in our season.
Remember, everyone must sign in at the office and get a wristband before entering the pit area.
Also we are starting one hour earlier on Sunday.
Sign-in starts at 1 pm
Practice at 2 pm
Heats at 3 pm

Mother Nature has been rather kind to us this year, compared to other racing in the area, but she has decided that she will not let us race this weekend. Due to all the standing water on the track and how much rain is still projected to fall over the next 12 hours. So we are canceling the Bud and Shirley Hostetler Memorial, and it is now scheduled to be made up on Sept. 13th. That means our next race is the Wilmington Rumble at Wilmington Raceway Park on Aug 23rd. Sign-in starts at 1 pm an hour earlier than normal, with practice and racing all starting one hour earlier than our normal times.
