The Ridgewood Lady Generals were down 2 sets to 0, but that didn’t stop the girls!

The Generals went on to win the next 3 sets to complete the reverse sweep and take the match over Maysville 3 games to 2!

WEST LAFAYETTE – Coming off a 10-13 season, the Ridgewood Lady Generals volleyball team is trying to put it all together this season under new guidance and leadership.

First-year varsity head coach Cassie Mladek spoke on taking over as head coach and how she is getting settled into the role.

“As a first-year volleyball coach, I walked into this season with a lot of excitement, but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous. Taking over a program comes with a lot of unknowns—wondering how the players will respond to you, whether they will trust you, and what kind of team you will be able to build together. From the very beginning, these girls welcomed me with open arms and settled my nerves. They made me feel like I belonged, and that meant more than they probably realized.”
