Assistant Coach Sydney sharpening her teaching skills! So cool to watch these kids who started with us as white belts learn to teach! Sydney has been coming in early every Monday and Thursday to learn how to teach directly from Master Boquet. She has made huge strides in just the past month alone. We are all very proud of her.

Starting at the end of May, we introduced our new character development program. The purpose of this new curriculum is to ensure that our students are not only growing physically, but mentally as well. Random talks at the end of the class just aren’t enough. It needs to be structured and there needs to be accountability. I’m so excited to get through our first full rotation of these lessons. It’s going to make our students even more awesome than they already are. We are currently focused on discipline. “I choose to control myself” sounds simple, but there’s about a million life lessons that can be learned from that mantra.
