West Jefferson Golden Gloves

While our 11u Golden Gloves team was having a fun end to there winter offseason by playing knockout to wrap up practice, some of the parents decided to help out and pack bags for the Madison County weekend food bags! These bags get passed out to each school district in the county for some students to take home and have snacks and or food for the weekend! This program is currently serving around 450 kids in the County. Thank you to those parents who were able to help giveback just a little bit!

Canyon Schneider, former Golden Gloves coach, was recognized on the National Stage at the All State Sugar Bowl on New Year's Day. He was one of 22 players, across all divisions in the country, to
be chosen as part of the All State Good Works Team. Canyon spent the week with his family in New Orleans celebrating this honor. Congratulations Canyon, and thank you for the time you spent coaching to help make a difference in the lives of our WJ Golden Gloves players!

It's time to get your team into the 2026 West Jeff Golden Gloves and Rowdy's Fastpitch Memorial Day Classic! This tournament has been a sellout every year. We also added Softball to this great weekend! Why not stay local on a holiday weekend and have Monday off to enjoy with family??? We play our games Thursday-Sunday (Weather pending) so each family can have an actual day off as we know summer baseball and softball can be a lot! All games will be played in West Jefferson or Plain City depending on the amount to teams and games needing played. The majority of the games are played in West Jefferson.
Things we offer:
- We drag and Maintain fields after every game. I hate going to tournaments and no one drags the field. If you don't believe me ask those that have attended in previous years.
- We have a full Concessions at every site
-3 or more teams from same program we give $50.00 off each registration.
-The one time gate fee is good for your entire team no matter how many parents, grandparents or cousins want to come and watch.
- The cost covers everything for the entire weekend umpires, game balls, rings/trophies and gate fee for all! No worries about carrying/scrambling to get cash to pay umpires or supplying game balls right before the game. We take care of all of that.

If you aren’t doing anything tomorrow come on up to Jack “Rock” McDowell Athletic Complex (Converse Park) and check out our baseball teams on Gloves Day! We will also have some raffle baskets. Check out the pictures below for more information. See you at the field!

Rowdy’s 14u Kimbler took 2nd place at the 2nd Annual Pink Out Tournament in Mt. Sterling, Ohio. This tournament was hosted by the Generals. The girls had an awesome time and came home with some hardware!
