Mason caruthers to some but to me his name is the “ blue cat assassin” along with his love for fishing I also learned he loves knives and has the scars to show it we caught fish shared battle scars and he told me how to Pan sear a steak like a Gordon Ramsey his “ side kick” his dad also joined us we had an absolute blast thanks for coming along the brown goose boys gotta do it again soon!!!

Been a monster year I came into the start of the season with a flatbottom boat now I’m gonna finish with a deep v still working out the quirks on it but it’s got some real potential I broke my PB catfish weighing in at 46 pounds early on and I won my very first tournament and was able to secure big fish I also took 4th in a Katyakers tournament at a lake I’ve never been too before was able to put a few of my friends and family on some nice fish as I come into the last half of the season the only thing I have on my mind is a 60 pound catfish wish me luck as I start to adventure into the mighty Ohio river looking for my ultimate goal for the year. Thanks everyone for following along!!!

I can’t even remember how hard my biggest fish fought but I’ll forever remember what I felt having my little family on the boat prayed to god most of the day to remind me why I’m thankful and why I’m here and I feel like he hit the nail on the head once again. God is good the fish are biting and Taylor and Juney are enjoying it with me. Hope everyone is feeling the way I’m feeling!!!

This is the second boat this paddle has been with me and hasn’t been used in 3 years that streak ended tonight lol my arms are sore but we made it back to the boat ramp!!! Reminder to everyone with remote controlled trolling motors have extra batteries on hand don’t be like me hahaha!!!
