is is a rider's course... all killer, no filler! As expected from an NYSMTB Series race, this will be a top shelf event, featuring:
•electronic scoring
•ample paved parking
•an MC calling the event & spinning tunes
•food vendor on site

...And all of that sweet, twisty singletrack

Stay tuned for race page! Cash for Cat 1 and Pro/Semi Pro riders! Cat 2&3 riders get medals with a prize blow out at the finals on 9/9/12 in September!!! The race will be staged right on Rt 28 west just a few minutes from exit 19 on the NYS thruway. More complete directions will be made available before the event for pre-riding. There will be a $5 upcharge for day-of registration. Registration is limited to 200 riders this year. Ok peeps, I am putting in the last 2014 Burly T shirt order for the year. If you want one, this is when you tell me. I know who is waiting for shirts from raceday,and those will be ordered as well tomorrow.

We want to give a big shout out and thank you to Justin Startup and The Kerhonkson Accord first Aid Squad for coming through for us again this year, and keeping our racers safe all day. We kept Justin a little busier than we would have liked this time out, and he was on point when it mattered. I hear he may be helping out at Windham this year, so if you see him there, let him know how much we appreciate his service to his and our community.

T shirt Update! A few people are still owed T-shirts. We are going through that list now, and may actually have some of your shirts in house. If so, we will be contacting you soon. We are going to order a short run of shirts to fill any outstanding orders, and we can throw some new ones in if anyone is interested. We can deliver shirts at upcoming races or mail them out. Please let us know if you want to add any shirts to our order. They will still be $15 each.

Wow, what a weekend! I just want to say thank you to all of my friends, neighbors, sponsors, and volunteer for the support and work that made the BWC possible. I also want to thank the racing community for coming out, throwing down, and being awesome!

Burly conditions report: The Burly was designed to stay dry and ridable in all conditions. The course never floods or turns into a mudfest. The forecast continues to hold for warm sunny days tomorrow and Sunday, so we are looking forward to the same family picnic party scene that we we had last year at The Backyard World Championship.
