Funny things you hear in game we we are discussing running thru 1st.

Me: run thru the base like there is Taylor Swift tickets where the dirt meets the grass.

12 Year Old Girl: But I don't like Taylor Swift!

Have to say, that might I haven't laughed that hard in a while. Gotta love coaching and some of the funny comments that come out.

As a parent and coach, there are times where just squeezing in time for your own daughter is seemingly impossible. So having moments like tonight to teach, support and celebrate her work fills the cup.

Watching her grow in this game and seeing the shy and uncertain girl turning into a confident young lady with so much more in front of her is a gift from God.
