Track team dinner tonight 6 pm at Gambit coffee! Awards and food. Bring uniforms if you haven’t yet. Excited to see everyone to wrap up a good season!

Reminder of turning in the uniforms! Either to the office any day or you can bring them to the track dinner Thursday 6 pm at Gambit. We only have about half of them so far.
Also any ribbons won at conference will be passed out.

Tomorrow I will be at school to collect uniforms. Please bring the jersey, and for anyone who had shorts I gave out bring those. If you don’t see me take them to the office in a bag of some kind with your name on it.

2nd at conference today! We were supposed to be a distant 3rd based on projections but we had 15 individuals or relays hit their PR’s today and ended their season with their best time/distance. Great job! Here’s some results of our top finishers.
Joan Raby 1st in High Jump with 4’9, 3rd in the mile, 3rd in the 800 meter
Eliana Campbell 2nd in high jump, 3rd in long jump, 3rd in hurdles
Aubrey Horrell 2nd in long jump, 3rd in the 7th grade 100, 5th in 200 meter
Abby Filkins 3rd in 400 meter
Makennah Jasper 4th in discus
Hadleigh Wortman 4th in hurdles
Rylan Ray 4th in 8th grade 100
Mila Cuevas 4th in 800 meter
Emilee Humphreys 5th in shotput

6th grade 4x200 relay finished 1st
Afton Wininger, Ella Essex, Mila Cuevas & Kenzie Green

Practice is cancelled today due to incoming weather.

Home comference championship Meet Monday will be field events at 1 pm. Running events start around 2:15-30.
The students will be released after 7th grade lunch on Monday to head to the track field.

No practice tomorrow April 30th, there is a home track meet for the high school. Next practices are Thursday and Friday after school.

Congrats to Joan Raby again on getting to go to state in high jump. Other regional top finishers were
Aubrey Horrell 3rd place in long jump at 13’11 &
3rd place in the 7th grade 100 meter
Eliana Campbell 5th in long jump

We also had 9 other girl set their personal best time or distance today.

Conference meet @ HOME will be Monday and the time has beenmoved up to 1 pm. Last full meet of the year! Come out and support your Redbirds as they try to win their conference.

Congrats to Joan Raby on clearing 4’7 and getting 2nd at regionals. She will be going to state!

Reminder! Just practice today after school at our normal time. Then tomorrow leaving at 8:15 for regionals in Harrisburg. Tomorrow have them bring concession money or snacks of their own, drinks, sunscreen, and anything else they would need for a long track meet. Field events start at 9:45. Long jump and Discus will be girls first.
