Just a fun post to highlight how well South Carolina has done this Allstars season, especially in the Midlands area!

Irmo Little League(also local) Intermediate and Majors teams represented SC and both won the Southeast!

Where do I even begin….

This last week has been a special one! DYB’s 70th anniversary World Series will be something we never forget!
After 2.5 months of practices and tournaments to get ready for this week, it clearly paid off because the boys ended their world series run as DYB WORLD SERIES RUNNERS UP for D2 Ozone on home turf!!
They played 7 games over the last 6 days, sending home 3 states, beating the only undefeated team left in bracket play, and only losing today’s game with a 1-0 score!
Boys played all week with determination and grit! I personally couldnt have asked for anything more! So proud of them all!💙

To our coaches: Ronnie, Brett, and Cam.
None of this would have been possible without you three! Thank you for your love of the game, your time, effort, dedication, high baseball IQs, and making these boys better ball players over the last couple months!

To our ballpark and board members: hosting a world series is not for the weak! So thank you so much for making our park look beautiful and for all your time and dedication all summer, especially this last week!

To our sponsors/donations: THANK YOU!! Because of you these boys were able to look fresh, play practice tournaments, have some fun, and get some goodies!

Last but not least, to our families and friends: these boys will never forgot everyone who was cheering them on this whole last week, whether near or far! From rides, to making sure they have everything they need, sitting in 100 degree weather, washing uniforms, etc. You all are amazing!

Summer 2025 was a memorable one!

Today is CHAMPIONSHIP Wednesday!! Let’s Gooooo Midland!!! The boys beat NC, the only undefeated team left in the tournament, last night! That left us, NC, and AL all with same record at end of bracket. They then pick out of a hat to see who wins the bye and AL won. We will take on NC again today at 11am!!!! Lets go boys!!!💙⭐️⚾️🔥

And the boys take another W, sending home Texas!
Now we just need to keep the momentum up for our next game at 8pm tonight! This will be a big game!

UPDATE:: Game to start at 3pm now

Mother Nature wants to make things difficult! Its been 100 degrees for a month and she had to pick this week for all the rain! I’ll take the 75 degree days though!😂

We were able to get one pitch in, a strike that is, and it was delayed!
We could potentially be playing at 3pm now.
We will keep everyone updated!💙⚾️

The boys live to see another day!
Day 4 was another win, sending home Louisiana!
We face Texas tomorrow at 9:30am for a rematch!

Boys have been showing their support for Tyler Corbitt, in little ways, while playing his favorite sport! The Corbitt family has been in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult journey. 🤍

Day 3 is in the books!
It was another nail biting good game and we were able to come out on top, beating and eliminating Tennessee 2-1!

The rain has pushed things back a little tomorrow and we will now play at 1:30pm.

Today we took on Texas and boy was it a game!
Boys played their hearts out!
We started off with the lead, lost it for a short time and then quickly tied it up. Both teams were able to hold each other for 2 more innings resulting us to go in to extra innings and unfortunately we lost by 1.

If we take anything away from the last two days and games, it is that these boys most certainly deserve to be here and are showing everyone just that!

We take on Tenenesee tomorrow at 1pm! We need everyone to come out and support these boys!

Day 1 is in the books and it came with a big win!
The boys took on Arkansas and won 22-1.
They looked solid all around!
Now lets keep the same momentum going into tomorrow! 💙⭐️⚾️

We take on Texas at 12pm, field 5, at Midland!!!
We know you all want to spend your Saturday afternoon sweating your butts off in 100 degree weather to cheer these boys on in your Midland blue! Cant wait to see you all!😂😉

TODAY IS THE DAY!!!😁⚾️💙🔥⭐️
After 2.5 months of putting in the work, there is no better time!!
Boys hit the field today at 12pm against Arkansas for their pool game at Midland. Pool games just determine who will play who for the first bracket game tomorrow!
There is nothing like playing in the DYB World Series on your home turf!
