Y’all know we love a good Midland story, and this sponsor shout-out comes with one!
A big thank you to Columbia Screen Printing & Design, our Gold Sponsor and official apparel printer of the Midland Rattlers! Shaun Palyok is a longtime friend and part of our Midland family, and his son, Luke, now works right alongside him at this locally owned and operated business.
For those who don’t know the connection, the Palyoks go way back with Midland. Greyson’s wonderful mom, Jen, served on the baseball board, and all of his big brothers played there. Then they’d come over and play football with us in the offseason. Same kids, same families, just trading their baseball gloves for football pads.
In 2017, Shaun and Jen welcomed their youngest son, Greyson, who was born with serious heart issues. And our Midland family showed up.
Stephen Knight was president of Midland baseball then, and baseball and football came together in a way we’ll never forget. Stephen has faced his own battle with leukemia, and we’re so thankful he’s still here with us today! These people mean a whole lot more to us than the titles they held at the park.
The boys had their wristbands, the cheerleaders had their bows, and everybody was repping . We were all pulling for that little boy and his family. That was .
Looking back through these pictures gets us a little emotional. We watched these kids grow up, spent countless nights at the fields with their families, and made memories that stuck with us long after the season ended. If you were there, you know. If you’re new here, this is part of what you’re joining. 💙
Now here we are, years later, with Shaun and Luke helping keep another generation dressed in Midland blue. Thank y’all for the sponsorship, the support, and for still showing up for these kids.
Midland family, let’s show them some love back! Keep Columbia Screen Printing & Design in mind when you need shirts or custom apparel for your business, team, or event.
These are our people. The kids grow up, but the family stays. 🐍💙
