Despite trailing by as many as four runs, Minors - Beauregard/Fontaine rallied to defeat Brookfield Minors 9-8 on Tuesday at Dean Park.

Brookfield Minors jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Aiden S doubled, scoring one run, and Rhys C grounded out, scoring two runs.

Brookfield Minors extended their early lead with two runs in the top of the second thanks to RBI ground outs by Jason N and Max B.

Minors - Beauregard/Fontaine captured the lead, 6-5, in the bottom of the second after Wyatt C singled, Jacoby B doubled down the right field line, Samuel D doubled to center field, Jax P doubled down the right field line, and Malikai M singled to the left side of the infield, each scoring one run.

Timothy T was struck by a pitch, which helped Brookfield Minors tie the game at six in the top of the third.

Minors - Beauregard/Fontaine captured the lead, 8-6, in the bottom of the third after Wyatt singled to the right side of the infield, and Logan K stole home, each scoring one run. Brookfield Minors tied the game in the top of the fourth thanks to a double by Brady D, and a single by Noah P.

Declan L began the game for Brookfield Minors. The starting pitcher gave up nine hits and eight runs over two and one-third innings, striking out five and walking four. Jacoby B took the mound as starting pitcher and Benjamin B appeared in relief for Minors - Beauregard/Fontaine.

Logan and Wyatt were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Minors - Beauregard/Fontaine. Wyatt went 2-for-2 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. Abby T and Frankie D each stole multiple bases for Minors - Beauregard/Fontaine. Minors - Beauregard/Fontaine ran wild on the base paths, amassing eight stolen bases for the game.

Brookfield Minors piled up 10 hits in the game. Rhys drove the middle of the lineup, leading Brookfield Minors with two runs batted in. Brady, Noah, and Aiden each collected two hits for Brookfield Minors.

Majors - Gough/Monette got on the board in the top of the first inning after Hayden C S doubled to center field, Jose P grounded out, and Jackson L singled to center field, each scoring one run.

Majors - Gough/Monette added one run in the third after Jose singled down the left field line on the seventh pitch of the at-bat.

Jackson began the game for Majors - Gough/Monette. The pitcher gave up four hits and three runs (two earned) over four innings, striking out nine and walking two. Samuel J started on the hill for Brimfield. The starting pitcher surrendered six hits and four runs over three innings, striking out four and walking three.

Jose tossed two innings of zero-run ball for Majors - Gough/Monette in relief. The reliever allowed two hits, striking out five and walking none. Jose provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Majors - Gough/Monette with two runs batted in. The infielder went 1-for-2 on the day. Hayden C went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Majors - Gough/Monette in hits.

Brooks S led Brimfield with two hits in two at bats from the leadoff position. Jayden S, Wesley Z, and Noah F each drove in one run for Brimfield. Brimfield were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Brody B had the most chances in the field with 10.

Minors - Beauregard/Fontaine won big over Minors - Lotti/Rutkowski 13-1 on Thursday.

Minors - Lotti/Rutkowski got on the board in the first inning after Everette L drew a walk, scoring one run.

Minors - Beauregard/Fontaine flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring six runs on three hits to take the lead, 5-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Wyatt C that drove in two.

Minors - Beauregard/Fontaine added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning when Frankie D singled, scoring one run, and Benjamin B doubled, scoring two runs.

Minors - Beauregard/Fontaine added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Cody N walked, Brian S walked, Frankie walked, and Cody stole home, each scoring one run.

Minors - Beauregard/Fontaine had a strong eye at the plate, tallying 13 walks for the game. Cody, Jacoby B, and Frankie led the team with two walks each. Cody stole two bases. 🏆The Quaboag Majors Cling To Victory As Holland Nearly Erased 6-Run Deficit! It was a nailbiter of a game but ended with a pop fly out caught by catcher Ryan L. Making the third out was short stop Jackson L covering 3rd base, with a forced out, beating the baserunner while attempting to tag up.

Despite seeing their 6-run lead whittled down by the end, Majors - Gough/Monette still held off for a 7-6 victory on Wednesday. Holland closed the gap by scoring on a single, a double, a walk, and a steal of home.

Majors - Gough/Monette got on the board in the first inning after Liam M grounded out, scoring one run.

Holland scored on a passed ball, which helped Holland tie the game at one in the top of the second.

Majors - Gough/Monette jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Jonathan G singled down the right field line, Thomas C singled down the right field line, and Aidyn B singled to center field, each scoring one run.

Majors - Gough/Monette extended their early lead with three runs in the bottom of the third thanks to RBI doubles by Hayden S and Jose P.

CODY HOWARD!

Cody is a player on the Coach Pitch Fountain/Reed Team. He has been a pleasure to coach this entire season. His coaches have watched him take construstive criticism and apply it to his baseball skills. Cody has worked so hard and improved on all fronts of his baseball abilities. He has tried all positions and is working hard to master them.

Cody is a great teammate showing support and kindness to all players on his team. He is respectful of his coaches every practice and every game. For all of these reasons listed above and so many more, his coaches are excited to nominate Cody for player of the week.

Everette T collected three hits in three at bats, as QVLL Juniors North defeated Sturbridge 12-2 on Friday. Everette doubled in the third inning, singled in the first inning, and doubled in the second inning.

Everette struck out 12 batters on the day. The hurler also gave up one hit and two runs over four innings while walking two.

QVLL Juniors North got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Everette singled, scoring one run, Rodrick G singled, scoring one run, Mason P singled, scoring one run, Jase S drew a walk, scoring one run, Carter P drew a walk, scoring one run, and John C singled, scoring two runs.
