Part of the reason I decided to become a Personal Trainer is because I truly feel like people want to work with someone that’s been through similar experiences that they have, that they can relate to.
When I was 18 I was at what I thought was the conclusion to my weight loss journey. I had lost 70 lbs and was sitting at 175 lbs and lean.
Then adulthood hit me hard. I dealt with new responsibilities, mental illness such as anxiety and depression, issues with alcohol and binge eating, and I had made my way up to 340 lbs.
Soon the lifestyle caught up with me, I started to feel sick every day, my back and joints began to hurt, my labs at the doctor weren’t looking great. I knew I had to change, not only for my self confidence but for my health and long term wellbeing.
Right now I’m down another 65lbs from my peak weight, and continuing on the path to an overall healthier lifestyle.
Here’s the big takeaway: I’ve been there before. I’ve made mistakes, and even after fully finding success I still had failures and setbacks. But what’s most important is that I persevered. If you have been wanting to make a positive change in your life, if you need help overcoming the roadblocks and setbacks you’ve had along the way, or even if you just need someone to hold you accountable. I’m here to help!
I’m going to be starting as a Personal Trainer very soon at the Kettle Morraine YMCA in West Bend on West Washington Street! I will post when I am accepting clients there, and in the meantime feel free to message me and I can get you setup with training once I’m there!
