GPS is a USATF Member Club competing in both winter (indoor) & summer (outdoor) seasons. Welcome to the Grizzly Performance & Speed (GPS) Track Club. Founded in 2023, GPS is an off-season speed training opportunity for all students attending North Point Middle & North Point High School (6th - 12th Grade). This training opportunity is available for any student-athlete wanting to continue to train S
PEED in the off-season. Whether you run track, play football, soccer, basketball, tennis etc. speed training is essential for athletic success. Student athletes joining primarily as a way to continue practicing / improving speed fundamentals during the off-season are not required to compete in any track meets. However, students interested in competing in Track and Field meets in the Summer and Winter months can register to be a part of our USATF / AAU Program. This year’s registration fee will be $50 for new members. This will cover the costs of club membership dues, equipment, instruction and club T-shirt. Note: All families must purchase the required USATF and AAU membership card directly at play.aausports.org . Official USATF / AAU team practice is currently scheduled to begin on June 1st. GPS Track Club is an all-volunteer program. Parents do not need to be track experts to help out. There are numerous ways you can get involved, just ask. GRIZZLIES PARENT’S CHECKLIST
