📣📣Important Notice!!!📣📣

After talking it over with Wellston School staff, we’ve decided that the stands are no longer worth repairing as the amount of money and time it would take would be like putting a bandaid on a bullet hole. As hard of a decision as this has been we realize that removing the bleachers and press box will allow us to start planning more for the future! We have a ton of people working on solutions but for this year we will ask everyone to bring chairs to the games for the home side, we will not be removing the visitor side section at this time as it’s in better shape overall! It’s a bitter sweet moment but all good things must come to an end, if you would like a section of the bleachers as a keep sake reach out to us as we might use it as a fundraiser for whatever we tackle next.

With that being said… we will still be having a work day this Saturday from 8am-4pm with lunch provided so if you want to come help start the next chapter of Tiger Football it would be greatly appreciated!

It’s STILL a GREAT day to be a Tiger and I am pumped for this upcoming season!!!

I can’t express the level of gratitude I have for the Wellston Community! On Saturday, we had over two dozen volunteers come out to help work on our football field, locker rooms, and other facilities. It’s very exciting to see the commitment you all have shown to making Wellston Football a reality!

So let’s talk about this next Saturday July 18th. We will have another big workday. It will involve the demolition of the remaining home-side bleachers. With that being said, we will need to avoid having minors on site. It will be too dangerous for them while we use heavier equipment to complete the work.

I appreciate everyone’s understanding with this decision.

I look forward to seeing all of you who can attend. Please join us, even if you can only attend for a few hours.

We have two MUCH NEEDED work days scheduled for July 11th and July 18th from 8:00am to 4:00pm. We need any and all help we can get. Lunch will be provided. We will be working on home bleachers, press box, locker rooms, equipment storage, and more! Comment below if you’ll be there, even if it’s for an hour or two!!
