Another solid night shaking down a new car!

Started 4th in the heat race and worked our way up to 2nd. That locked us into the feature redraw, where we drew the pole.

Got a great start in the feature. Paul was able to get around us early, and we held onto 2nd for a while before settling into 3rd. We stayed there and brought home a podium finish to end the night.

Very happy with a 3rd place finish. We learned a lot about what the car likes and what it doesn’t, and that knowledge will only make us better moving forward. 🥉

The wait is over! 🙌

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be racing at Lincoln Speedway this Friday! After all the rainouts and cancellations, it looks like Mother Nature is finally going to cooperate and let us get back on the track.

August 18, 2026 - The Morrow Brothers Ford, Inc. MOWA Sprint Car Series returns to “Abe’s Favorite Place to Race”, Lincoln Speedway on Friday, August 21 for the annual “Night Before the Mile”. Friday’s visit is the 23rd appearance for the series at the ¼-mile oval.

The Friday night event has become a fan favorite in recent years, which leads into a weekend of action on the Springfield Mile at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, promoted by Track Enterprises .

Earlier in the season, Paul Nienhiser bagged his seventh career MOWA Sprints win at Lincoln Speedway. He enters this weekend second in the Championship points standings, only 12 markers behind Jake Neuman .

Weldon, Illinois driver Tyler Duff scored his first MOWA Sprints victory last August with the Night Before the Mile victory and will be back in action as well. Two-time and defending series champion Will Armitage has finished second in three of his last five appearances at Lincoln and has his eyes set on finishing one spot better.

Pit Gates open at 4:00PM on Friday, with Hot Laps scheduled for 6:00PM and racing to follow.

𝗠𝗢𝗪𝗔 𝗦𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗜𝗡𝗩𝗔𝗗𝗘 𝗝𝗔𝗖𝗞𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗩𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗘 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗪𝗔𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧!

July 30, 2026 – Some race tracks become a stop on a schedule. Others become part of the identity of a series. This Friday, Jacksonville Speedway adds another chapter to the Morrow Brothers Ford, Inc. MOWA Sprint Car Series history book as it hosts the series for the 67th time in series history.

Sitting atop the MOWA Points Standings, New Berlin, Illinois driver Jake Neuman heads into Friday’s event fresh off of a local victory at Jacksonville, which was his second of the year. In five events under the MOWA banner in 2026, Neuman has three top-5 finishes and has been inside of the top-10 in all appearances. Neuman is hopeful that his success over the past few weeks will carry over to Friday night, where he looks to add another MOWA victory at Jacksonville to his resume, along with the other two. He has four series victories, with the most recent being at Jacksonville in June 2022.

Three-time Series Champion, Paul Nienhiser is just behind Neuman by 12 markers. He owns 14 MOWA Sprint victories at Jacksonville - and 34 overall with the series, and is eager to add to that total on Friday night. Nienhiser won the season opening event with the Morrow Brothers Ford MOWA Sprints at Jacksonville on May 1.

Friday’s event pays $3,000-to-win and $300-to-start. Pit Gates Open at 4:00PM, with Hot Laps scheduled for 6:15PM and racing to follow.
