We’re excited to announce the launch of a new Weddington Middle Dance Team Feeder Program for current Weddington middle school students!

This is an independent program — it is not affiliated with Weddington Schools or Union County Public Schools (UCPS). It is designed specifically for Weddington middle schoolers who want to gain the skills needed to successfully make dance teams in high school and college.

The program will help bridge the pipeline between Lil’ Dubs and the Weddington High School dance programs by focusing on technique, performance quality, and team training.
Please note: After discussions with the school, they currently do not have plans to implement an official middle school dance team. If that changes in the near future, this independent program will convert over to become the school-sponsored team.

If you have a dancer in grades 1st–5th, we would love for them to join us!

Last year, Lil’ Dubs was truly one of the best things we did — not just for the dancers, but for our entire program, the community and ourselves. And we are so excited to do it again. Total cuteness overload. Did I mention they are also current Elementary State Champions? 🤍

✨ This is more than a team — it’s a year-long experience!

Our Lil’ Dub Dancers will perform at WHS Varsity football games, Varsity basketball games, state competitions, community events, and take part in community service projects.

💫 Lil’ Dubs is a mentoring program designed to inspire the next generation of dancers and introduce them to the dance team experience.

📌 Must be a current UCPS student attending a Weddington feeder school. Grades 1st-5th

📅 Interest Meeting: Mon April 13
📅 Tryouts: Sat-Sun May 2 & 3
