Drop PROTEIN for my 30g protein recipe pack!
If you're skipping breakfast, read this.
Skipping doesn't create a deficit. It just moves your hunger to 2 PM & makes it worse.
Here's what's actually happening when you wait....
Cortisol is already highest in the morning. Add no food to that & your blood sugar stays unstable all day. Dumping coffee on top is a recipe for tired and wired and belly fat.
Protein first thing changes the whole day.
Here's what I eat & why:
1. 40g protein. Protein synthesis slows down as estrogen declines, so getting protein in early gives your body the raw material to hold onto muscle. & muscle is what keeps your metabolism high.
2. 52g carbs from fruit. I train at 10:30am, so those carbs have about 2 hours to store as glycogen. That IS your energy. No carbs in, no power out.
3. In smoothie form so it is easy to digest and keeps my energy up. Bagels, oatmeal, toast...takes too long to process and can make energy dip.
386 calories total. Eaten within 30 min of waking, after my NAD precursors & a big glass of water.
That's strategy.
You're not trying to eat less. You're trying to eat in a way that tells your body it's safe to let go of fat & build muscle.
Drop protein & I'll send you my high protein breakfast cheat sheet 💜
