The final leaf-off imagery map has officially left the building for the 2025/2026 mapping season.

These maps have to be captured during a very specific window along with the right conditions to produce imagery up to 25 times clearer than the leaf-off satellite imagery you’ll find on OnX and other mapping apps.

Why get high-definition leaf-off imagery?

Most mapping apps that offer leaf-off imagery only provide 30–50 centimeters per pixel. In simple terms, that means each pixel represents an area of 30–50 centimeters on the ground—limiting the amount of detail you can actually see.

Our high-definition drone maps offer resolutions of 2–3 centimeters per pixel, meaning each pixel represents a much smaller area on the ground. The result is up to 25 times higher resolution than standard mapping apps.

With that kind of detail, you can clearly see individual rocks, creek beds, terrain changes, and many other fine features that would otherwise be missed.

When it comes to understanding your property, detail makes all the difference.

Kansas folks,

We get a lot of calls every season asking us to help recover deer in Kansas. Unfortunately, we’re still unable to help because drone recovery is illegal in Kansas.

The good news is Kansas is set to vote on an amendment that would allow drones to be used for deer recovery.

Congratulations to TJ on his awesome public-land buck!

TJ gave us a call because he didn’t want to risk pushing his deer off public land. We coordinated with the local conservation agent to get the proper permission, got the drone in the air, and made it happen for him. A well-earned public-land success!

Zach gave us a call shortly after his shot. At the impact site he found zero blood, and knowing what the drone can do, he brought us in so he didn’t risk bumping his deer. We arrived and located the buck just 100 yards from the shot site. Out of curiosity, Zach walked the trail from the shot to where we found him—and still never found a single drop of blood. Sometimes these deer just don’t follow the script, and that’s where the drone shines as the least intrusive way to recover them.
