Unfortunately, our WCLL 12U All-Stars came up short against Daniel Boone, falling 6-0 to end their incredible state tournament run.

While the outcome wasn't what they hoped for, these boys played with heart, grit, and determination all season long. They represented Webb City with pride, never stopped competing, and gave everything they had every time they took the field.

We're incredibly proud of this team, their coaches, and the families who supported them every step of the way. Thank you for an unforgettable season and for representing WCLL so well.

Once a Cardinal, always a Cardinal. Great season, boys! ❤️🩵

The road to the title continues for our WCLL 12U All-Stars! These boys have battled, competed, and earned their shot at bringing home the championship.

🏆 Game 1: 9:00 AM vs Daniel Boone

It’s one game at a time from here. If they get the win this morning, they will go right back on the field against Daniel Boone for the championship game immediately after with a chance to secure the title!

The energy, the teamwork, and the determination have carried them this far & now it’s time to finish strong.

WCLL 12U kept their state tournament run alive with a hard-fought 6-3 victory over Harrison County! Every player stepped up, every inning mattered, and this team showed exactly what they're made of.

A true icon to our sport and to Little League. Thank you for your service, dedication and time put forth for the sport we all love. Congratulation Wayne Metcalf on a job well done sir! Springs Little League

Tonight this young man will be throwing out the 1st pitch in his last Little League Kansas State Championship. Wayne Metcalf moved to Baxter in 1955. He got involved in Little league in 1966, he became the league president in 1969 and held that position for 38 years. He became the District Administrator in 1973 a position he will be resigning from this year after 53 years of service. Wayne we thank you for your dedication! Game starts at 7:00 tonight for those who wish to cheer on his 1st pitch.

Tonight didn't go our way, as WCLL 12U fell to North KC, 5-3, but this team has shown all season that they don't back down when the challenge gets tough.

Their State Tournament journey isn't over yet. Tomorrow brings another opportunity, another game, and another chance to keep chasing the dream.
